The new prophecy gang, medieval edition. They kind of look like a dnd party, ngl.

I really struggle to design clothes (these will /not/ be accurate to any particular period, or make sense practically I'm sure) and I'm also not too sure about weapon choices yet, but this was more about their dynamic as a group so I'm at peace with it lol. I wrote some fun facts if you want themm, but some might be a little lost in the sauce of the au (lack context, rip)

Crowpaw brings his late father's greyhound Hoprunner with him, who Brambleshoot ends up forming a bond with. It's Brambleshoot who leaves the group early (after Midnight, pre-Feathertail's death) to ride Hoprunner back to the kingdoms, to warn of the incoming storm/flood

((in this au the kingdoms are flooded, which forms the lake within the existing forest territories))

Crow and Squirrel are both unknighted and therefore "unnamed", Crow being a young squire and Squirrel having failed her final test (a trial set by Starclan)

Despite Feathertail's best efforts, the others are initially cautious of the young princess's intentions and its Squirrel's brash honesty and humour that initially brings everyone together as friends.

Stormpath admires these traits as being so unlike the insincerity of the River Kingdom's court and he develops a strong, unreturned crush on her (she's aroace, but doesn't get a chance to realise this until late in life)

Brambleshoot wasn't chosen by Starclan, Squirrel was; his insecurity about this, plus his early departure, holds him back from fully connecting with the others

Tawnypelt fights the hardest against bonding on an emotional level, too aware of their eventual separation and determined to keep things professional. She becomes the unofficial leader, working well with Feathertail who handles the more "personable" aspects of a leadership role.

They form mutual romantic feelings before Feathertail dies as a result of a jointly made plan. This devastates Tawny and she’s the first to pull away from the others upon returning to the kingdoms.

Stormpath is the only of the six Tawnypelt keeps in regular contact with.

Reposting this onto tumblr because it’s really serious. A warriors artist by the username of Eggnoggins who goes by Marceline has admitted to spreading around CSEM and harassing the victim. Along with this, she has also been revealed have manipulated so many people much younger than her.

While her accounts are now deleted, please keep an eye out for her anywhere. If you suspect she has made a new account, please let me or anyone else on warriors twitter know immediately. If you are a minor, do not interact with her. She has proven herself to be unsafe around minors.

my favourite thing about every warrior cats fan who is the number one stan of some random unimportant background character is that almost without fail they will be convinced that their guy has right of succession. they’ll have a whole au where secretly their fave character is the main character of warriors holding the whole story together and it will be convincing as HELL and you’ll go fuck….. smallear should have been the one to save thunderclan you’re right….. I eat it up every time

never getting over the fact that Crookedstar waged war against ThunderClan for Stormkit and Featherkit, only for those same kits to be thrown in an old foxhole and nearly murdered six-ish moons later.

like. RiverClan was willing to die for those kits. and then they cheered when Tigerstar called them blood traitors and told Stonefur to kill them. it's the cruelest twist of fate in the entire series imo.

CHAPTER 5

Mousepaw’s senses stirred before his mind fully caught up. The world around him was slow to come into focus, his limbs aching as if weighed down by stones. A gentle and persistent warmth seeped into his fur, easing the dull throb in his muscles. Slowly, he cracked open his eyes, only to squint against the golden light streaming from above. 

The distant rush of water reached his ears, a rhythmic sound that pulled his attention outward. 

A river.

Blinking against the brightness, Mousepaw took in his surroundings. His heart jolted. He didn’t recognize this place.

Unsteady, he pushed himself onto trembling legs, his white paws pressing against smooth, sun-warmed stone. The heat beneath him was comforting, grounding him in a moment of quiet confusion. He stood atop a rock formation that sloped gently toward a river’s edge, where the water surged with an undeniable force. The current would have dragged him under if he had been any closer.

Beyond the river, marshland stretched into the horizon, blurring into a thick forest. The canopy above was alive with movement, shifting leaves dappling the ground in ever-changing shadows. The air itself carried an energy, vibrant and rich with the scent of growth and damp earth.

Yet something felt… wrong.

Mousepaw inhaled deeply, his nose twitching at the familiar yet distorted scent of ThunderClan. It was similar but strange, like a word spoken in the wrong tone or a face that almost—but not quite—matched a memory. An uncanny wrongness that made his paws itch.

The Fourth Apprentice was one of the first Warriors books I read "currently" (as they were being published), so I have a lot of fondness for it. It was a pleasure to be a part of this project!

Here's my full cover for the Warrior's Cover Zine! This features Rootpaw, Bramblestar (fake) and Bramblestar (ghost) at a gathering, with Bristlefrost as the larger, faint profile. So thrilled to be able to post this, was really happy with how this turned out.

Definitely learned not to go so dark on colours for print though, big thanks to @harriertail for helping sort that and hosting the project :)
