Two

His hands are cold against Zuko's skin. One hand softly brushes through his growing and very messy hair, and the other sat on Zuko's stomach, idly rubbing soothing motions. When Zuko opens his eyes, Jet's not paying a single second to the movie. His deep hazel eyes are flecked with blue right now and Zuko gets lost looking for every shade he can. By the time he counts three, Jet's leaning down to kiss him.

Zuko's eyes flutter shut, setting a hand behind him to push himself up. Jet's still leaning slightly to catch his lips but now it's more comfortable. They're stuck like that, lips pressed together for ages until Zuko pulls back. They press their foreheads together, both of them relishing in how easy the contact is. Zuko keeps his eyes shut as Jet scatters lazy kisses around his face.

When Zuko pulls his eyes open, Jet's grinning at him. As lazy and soft as ever and Zuko can't help but kiss him again, trying to memorize the way it feels against his lips. They twitch slightly and Zuko knows Jet's doing the same.

Jet grins, leaning forward so that their lips meet delicately. Zuko’s eyes flutter closed as he tilts his head, letting Jet’s tongue probe at his lips for entry. He deepens the kiss, his free hand going to the back of Zuko’s head, fingers buried in his hair.

So it became a thing. Whenever Zuko was in Ba Sing Se to visit his uncle, they would meet. Sometimes they’d spar, sometimes they’d go straight to making out. Sometimes Jet would sneak in through Zuko’s window and they’d fuck, and occasionally Jet would stay the night and they would talk; Jet insulting him, but without any real heat behind the words, and Zuko complaining sleepily about Fire Nation politics. On those nights, Jet would have to suppress the feelings he got looking at tired, vulnerable, beautiful Zuko. Those were dangerous nights.

Jet and Zuko get together to to sword fight or have sex whenever Zuko’s in Ba Sing Se but they both have mushy feelings for each other
