PARADOX!PJ AU!!

Origin story:

Unlike the canonical version of PaperJam, this one was not created accidentally but was instead consciously created by Ink and Error. In this version, both are dying due to being abandoned by their creators. As a result, their respective universes began to “die,” leading to an existential paradox in which these universes both exist and do not exist at the same time. Because of this, they cannot be erased, but they also cannot be considered proper universes to be protected.

Due to all of this, Ink and Error were unable to fulfill their roles, which caused them to begin dying and losing their abilities. Despite not being friends and naturally hating each other, they had lived so long that they understood each other’s purpose. In this dire situation, they had no choice but to form an alliance and come up with a plan to survive at any cost. They discovered that to “revive” the universes, they needed to create a paradox within them that was significant enough to sustain their existence for a long time. Unfortunately, Error had already lost almost all of his abilities, and Ink was following the same path, meaning they could not accomplish this task on their own.

So, they made a decision: they poured what little power they had left into creating someone with their same abilities to carry out this mission and ensure their survival. After countless attempts, they finally created the most “stable,” though not entirely perfect, version of PaperJam. However, they soon realized that Paper was not strong enough for the task—her was quite weak in many aspects. But they had no time to go back; time was running out for both of them. So, despite this setback, they decided to train Paper as quickly as possible.

Years later, in the present day, PaperJam now dedicates herself to carrying out his mission of “reviving” universes, wandering through the multiverse, meeting new people and worlds, and, most importantly, beginning to unlock emotions that had been suppressed for years due to an unpleasant childhood. Is her sense of justice corrupted by his progenitors? Could it be that they are not as good as she once idealized them to be? PJ still doesn’t know for sure. For now…

Ink is not particularly known, except that they have heard from Nightmare what a false guardian he is and dislike him.
