Curly (Mouthwashing) Agere Headcanons!

Little!Curly headcanons requested by @pastel-yellow-dreaming !!

Our headcanons are below the cut 💞

Warning that we wrote headcanons both Pre-Crash and Post-Crash. We do not go into explicit details of anyones trauma but do very vaguely allude to what Anya has went through as we felt it was essential in discussing Little!Curly's dynamic with the crew !!

❤️‍🩹 - Curly already used to regress before the incident, the pressures and responsibilities of being captain sometimes would get too much and would cause him to regress.

👁️ - At the time before any traumatic events occurred to any of the crew, Anya used to love being Curly's caregiver in private together. She first noticed him regressing during the psych evals.

❤️‍🩹 - Curly especially loves to read when regressed.

👁️ - He regresses to different ages and mental states. Sometimes he regresses as young as 5 years old and other times he regresses to more of a pre-teen 13 years old.

❤️‍🩹 - When regressed to 5 he is actually a very quiet kid who mostly likes to observe others. He doesnt talk much except a few words when he really needs something. After the crash, the feeling of helplessness and the forceful removal of his autonomy made it that he frequently regresses to this age but it often leaves him crying and scared now.

👁️ - When regressed to 13 years old, he likes to ramble a bunch over space facts. He is super passionate about space and the planets and the endless possibilities. Post-crash the rare times he regresses to 13 he often tries to talk but feels frustrated that he cant and will start having meltdowns and crying.

❤️‍🩹 - Pre-Crash his favorite time when regressed was when he would lock the cockpit with Anya watching over him as he played pretend in the Captains seat. The ship was on autopilot and he was not in any actual control but it brought him a lot of joy.

👁️ - Following Anya's own trauma on the ship she tries her best but often breaks down trying to take a caretaker role over Curly. Even so, she tries her best to not abandon him ever. She keeps both him and herself safe from Jimmy whenever Curly regresses by locking the medbay. She makes sure Jimmy cant get to little Curly. She would do anything to try and keep them safe.

❤️‍🩹 - Daisuke after Anya opens up about her difficulties and the situation one day decides to help and becomes an older sibling figure to little Curly. He doesn't mind one bit and actually as an only child it makes him happy to imagine having had a chance to have a little sibling, it also helps him cope and feel any amount of normalcy and like he is reliable and helpful for once.

👁️ - Curly post crash feels a lot of shame and tries to keep from regressing, but ever since Daisuke has been helping with caretaking his guilt is slowly being worked through and it feels less torturous to give in.

❤️‍🩹 - Overtime, Daisuke accidentally slips and mentions Curlys regression to Swansee who is incredibly confused at first. It takes a long time for Swansee to warm up to the idea and even really understand it. But once he does, he actually secretly starts checking in on Curly when he's sober. He misses his family and kids, and similarly to how he sees Daisuke as a promising young soul and feels fatherly towards him Swansee starts to see Curly similarly. He'll sit next to little Curly and start telling him stories of his life and precious adventures. Curly loves to listen, he never expected to see that side of Swansee but it brings him a lot of comfort when little and actually helps him relax and even sleep.

☆ Baby regressor! His normal age range is somewhere between 0-2

✧ Very clingy little! Will not stop pestering the crew for cuddles

☆ Voluntary and involuntary regressor!

✧ Very chatty! He'll just babble on and on for hours

☆ After a particularly rough day, you can normally find him flopped somewhere in the lounge with a blanket watching a show

👾 [DAISUKE] 🌺

☆ Middle regressor! Normally around 8-12, but sometimes goes younger!

✧ Just like Curly, he'll absolutely talk your ear off

☆ Loves playing games of any kind!

✧ Little ball of energy. He's constantly either talking or moving

☆ You can placate him for a little bit with a coloring/activity sheet, but once he finishes, he's right back up!

✧ Voluntary regressor, although sometimes he'll start to regress without thinking it through

💊 [ANYA] 🐈‍⬛

☆ Flip! Normally regresses between 4-6

✧ Very receptive to baby talk and babbles

☆ "Oh! Mhm, really? Is that so?"

✧ Fairly lenient with rules! As long as you're healthy and safe, she doesn't mind that much!

☆ Involuntary regressor!

✧ Loves cats (and all animals, really) when she's little

Little!Wilson with Cg!House Headcanons!

⭐️ Little Wilson is normally around 2-5 in age besides for a few exceptions when he’s in middle space

⭐️ Wilson is typically quite quiet and shy when small. House sometimes forgets he’s there

⭐️ Wilson has some many stuffies that he can barely fit in his bed. House tries to convince him that some can sleep elsewhere but it never works

⭐️ House is the ultimate liquid meal replacement preacher. It’s one of the only things he can get Wilson to eat that has some nutritional value

⭐️ Wilson is really cuddly when small and wants to be carried everywhere, due to houses leg that’s not really possible so instead there constantly holding hands

⭐️ House keeps some little gear in his office just in case Wilson drops at work, which happens much more often then Wilson would like to admit

Summery: After a long day, Wilson is a bit too little to keep working

It been an incredibly long day at the hospital, at least three different code blues, two case emergencies and an ass ton of paperwork. House had been sitting at his desk for what felt like hours, doing his best to make it look like he was working without actually working. It was late enough that the ducklings had all gone home, as well as most of the day shift. A small creak made house look up from his work. In the doorway stood a very tired looking Wilson, shifting his weight to one foot at a time.

“Hey, Wilson. Trying out your horror monster impression? Cause I hate to break it to you but you’re more pathetic than creepy.” House commented as leaned back in his chair. He was not expecting the sniffle he got in response. He looked back up at Wilson’s face, the distant look in his eyes, his lip quivering, the awkward fidgeting. Shit. “Hey, Jimmy. Come here.” House said softer this time as he pushed his chair back and held his arms out. Wilson shuffled closer, not really lifting his feet as he was too tired. “I didn’t mean what I said, okay? Come here.” Leave it to House to insult his regressing, and quite sensitive, little. Wilson eventually shuffled close enough for House to pull him into his lap, carefully arranged so he wouldn’t be on his bad thigh.

“I’m sorry..” Wilson quietly muttered as he tucked his face into House's neck. Wilson was a cuddly little, and despite how much House hated cuddling most of the time he could make an exception for his baby best friend.

“Hey now, don’t be sorry, you didn’t do anything wrong. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been rude.” House apologized as he gently swayed his chair. “Why don’t we put you down for a nap? I still have some paperwork to do so we can’t go home yet.” He got a sleepy whine in response and chuckled. “Oh boohoo, you get to sleep while I have to get six hours worth of paperwork done.” House rolled his eyes lovingly. He helped Wilson to his feet, despite the littles protests, and got up himself. He hobbled around to set up his sofa with a blanket and a pillow that hopefully won’t hurt Wilson's neck. “Come lay down, kid.” He said as he held the blanket up. Wilson quietly laid down and House put the blanket over Wilson. “Okay, kid. Go to sleep and I’ll wake you up when it’s time to go.” House said as he hobbled back to his chair.

“Night-night.. love you..” the little mumbled as he almost instantly fell asleep. House smiled softly as he watched the rise and fall of Wilson’s chest. Wilson meant a lot to him even though he was a walking pile of fussiness half the time. Now, he got back to his paperwork, quickly making his way through it so he could get the little guy home by eleven.

Caregiver!wilson headcanons

(been obsessed with him sm lately, he is my cg and I won’t let you say otherwise :(

Headcanons!

⭐️A very empathetic caregiver! He is already sensitive and caring when he is not on full caregiver mode, but whenever his little cries or feels overwhelmed he just can’t help but be overprotective and feel a lot for his little, he might even cry just like his little is doing

⭐️Loves to watch the cartoons or movies you watch when you’re regressed with you! At the start he just wanted to accompany you while you watched your cartoons and keep an eye on you, but he can’t deny that he has grown to love them too!

⭐️Very worried! Wilson has an eye on you almost 24/7 whenever you regress, making sure you don’t do stuff that might hurt you, and making sure you don’t do stuff that you’re too little to do, and if you ever do get hurt he panics and makes sure it isn’t serious, if you guys are at his home then he will go over to his bathroom where he keeps the med kit immediately after.

⭐️Serious about bedtimes! He can be a little strict about what time you go to bed but it’s only because he cares about your well being and doesn’t want you to fuss when you have to wake up.

⭐️On the same note, he also makes sure you do the things you’re supposed to do everyday, like brushing your teeth, bathing and eating, if you’re big enough to do them yourself he will gently remind you to do these until you to do (he won’t stop insisting until you do, and no, he will not give up) but if you’re feeling too little he will help you through them or do the activities himself (he will brush your teeth and feed you)

⭐️As he is a doctor, he always gets worried whenever you present any symptoms of getting sick, a slight cough? He will worry, little headache? Tell him all about it. If you were to actually get sick enough to have to go to the hospital he will try to be by your side all of the time, holding your hand and helping you through the hard parts of it (for me needles!)

⭐️He tries to avoid taking care of a little while House is around, but it ends up being inevitable and he will just warn him a concerning amount of times to be nice to you (uncle house can actually be very fun, but he is also a big prankster, and if one of his pranks gets out of control you better believe Wilson will completely scold him for it)

⭐️Loves the nickname “kiddo!” One of his to-go nicknames for his little whenever he has to take care of one (not for a regressed house of course, he doesn’t like nicknames much)

⭐️PLUSHIES! It is canon that he has a cute doctor bear plushie in his office and he always lets you play with it as well as buying you new ones whenever he has the chance!

“No. Absolutely not.” House held up the white adult pacifier like it was diseased. He would have felt offended if it wasn’t for the sickeningly earnest look on Wilson’s face.

“Come on. It can’t hurt to try, right?”

“Sure it could. My dignity, for one. I like it, I’d like to keep it.” He put the pacifier back in the box and went to hand it back.

Wilson wouldn’t take it. “Who’s going to judge you? Me? I got it for you, and I don’t care what you do.” He pushed the box back towards him. “Look, you don’t have to use it, just… think about it. I don’t even have to be here when you do! Besides, it was like twenty dollars with shipping, so…” He rubbed his neck sheepishly.

House scoffed. Twenty dollars for this? That was highway robbery. “And for twenty dollars you chose the boring white one? You know what, fine. If it’ll make you feel better about being scammed, I won’t throw this in the dumpster the second you leave the house.”

Wilson smiled. “That’s all I’m asking. Oh, and speaking of leaving the house,” He stood up and grabbed his coat, and suddenly House felt like this whole thing might have been a trap since the beginning. “I’ve got a date tonight.”

“What? With who?” It couldn’t have been anyone in the hospital, he would have seen Wilson making goo-goo eyes at her by now. Had he met someone? But Wilson was a loser who didn’t go anywhere, so when did he have the time for that?

Wilson waggled his finger at him. “Ah-ah, nope. You don’t know anything about her, and it’s going to stay that way.” He grabbed his keys. “Think about it, House. I think it’ll be good for you.”

Then he was gone, and House was left on the couch with the package in his hands. Even though the box was closed, it was like he could see the item inside right through the cardboard. Having an adult pacifier in the first place was already humiliating, and having your friend buy one for you was nothing short of mortifying. And Wilson wanted him to, what? Regress right that second to use the “gift” he didn’t ask for? Yeah, right.

Right.

Wilson was just about to get up and check on House, because he’d been silent for over twenty minutes and that was never a good thing, when a laptop was dropped in his lap. A regressed House loomed over his shoulder, white pacifier in his mouth and stuffed cat in hand.

“What’s this?” The browser was opened to two tabs on an online shopping website searching for ‘afullt pavifers’. Wilson raised his eyebrows. It had been just over two weeks since he gifted House his first pacifier, and despite his adamant initial rejection he had taken to it surprisingly quickly. So quickly, he was apparently asking for more.

He clicked through both tabs. The first pacifier was similar to the one he already had, just in black instead of white. The second was also black, but with bright red and orange flames that bore a striking resemblance to the pattern on his cane. Very House choices.

Wilson hummed. “Hm, I don’t know… shipping costs a lot these days, and I recall a certain someone didn’t like these sorts of things.” He teased, “But maybe I could consider it if I heard the magic words?”

House tilted his head and scrunched up his face, before reluctantly lisping “p’ease n’ sthank ‘uo?” From behind the pacifier.

“Well that’s very polite of you, but the words I was looking for were ‘You were right, Wilson! I’m so sorry I ever—‘“ House grabbed the closest throw pillow and whipped it at his head. “Ah! Okay, fine. I suppose I can accept a ‘please’, go grab my wallet.”

In five minutes he was forty dollars— forty whole dollars— poorer and two new pacifiers were on their way. House gave him a grateful bonk on the head with his stuffed cat, then disappeared back to his room without so much as another word. He sighed and tucked his credit card back into his wallet. The things I do for this kid.

Hello! I'm new but can I ask for a drabble?

SickWithFlu!House and caretaker!Wilson (also, house is not himself. He's very nice and soft)

Beep-beep, beep-beep.

Wilson took the thermometer from House's mouth and read the screen. 101.3. The Tylenol was doing its job, even if it was only children's. House had refused to take anything that didn't taste like artificial bubble gum, but any medication in his system was better than nothing.

"Looks like your fever's going down. How are you feeling?"

House whined and buried his face back against his blankie. He regressed shorty after his fever began to ramp up, and since then, he had been hovering around a very small and very sleepy three years old. It was pretty cute, as cute as House could be, how soft he'd become; making grabby hands for his sippy of water, burying himself up to his chin in blankets, and perhaps most un-House of all, soaking up all the attention and affection he could get. Wilson could hardly leave the room without House calling pitifully for him to come back.

And on top of it all, there was no fussing. No fighting taking his medicine, no talking back, no tantrums. Just a sick kid who wanted someone around to look after him.

"Okay." Wilson brushed back some of his wayward tufts of bedhead, "I want you to try and get some more rest before dinner, alright? Just a little nap, and then you can have some soup."

He got back another disgruntled noise, and House reached out a floppy hand to tug him closer. He smiled. "Oh, I see. You want me to sit with you, don't you?"

Another tug.

"Okay, okay." Wilson climbed into bed beside him and sat up against the headboard. He began rubbing House's back through the thick blankets, slowly up and down and up and down. House let out a content sigh, and Wilson chuckled to himself. "There you go... Get some sleep, House. I'll wake you up in a bit."

Regressor!Sherlock and CG!John Headcanons

BBC Sherlock inspired, written for @otto-wood-protection-squad​. 

John has been a caregiver for a lot of his life: it’s one of the ways that he feels important and keeps structure in his life. 

He’s been active in online communities for years and enjoys babysitting regressors. 

John daydreams about having an IRL regressor to care for, but he’s never been able to take the step and seek that out. Nor has he ever committed to a one-on-one relationship as a caregiver, he’s waiting for the right person. 

He knows that regression is more common than people think! As a doctor, he sees people at their most vulnerable, and many people slip in maturity and age when they’re in pain. 

After Afghanistan, John continued to be part of regression communities, but he felt increasingly like he didn’t have enough to offer as a caregiver. The joy started to go out of babysitting and caregiving for him as his mental and physical health declined. 

Sherlock hates age regression, although it’s always been part of the way his mind copes with boredom and stress. 

He views regression as a slipping of the mind, and prefers to use destructive or unhealthy coping mechanisms rather than let himself regress.  

John automatically starts parenting Sherlock as soon as they move in together: Sherlock is just so irresponsible in the flat, however capable he may be in the wider world. 

Sherlock finds himself reacting positively to John’s ‘nannying’ and doesn’t let himself think too hard about it. If the dishes are washed and he passes out from hunger less often, that’s a good thing. 

(And then one day, Sherlock is exhausted and slipping and tries to turn to negative coping mechanisms but John is there to block him and quietly asking him what’s wrong, and Sherlock crumbles into him) 

(I kind of wrote myself into a fanfiction prompt instead of writing a decent set of headcanons: I’m putting this on a list of fics to write in the new year!)

Little!House Headcanons!

⭐️ His age range is 0-12, and it’s pretty unpredictable.

⭐️ He has one stuffed animal from his childhood that he can’t go without.

⭐️ Wilson is his main caregiver, but Cuddy will step in when needed.

⭐️ Huge troublemaker, if you leave him alone for just a second something will break.

⭐️ When he’s feeling on the small side, he can’t really understand why his legs hurts.

⭐️ He really, really likes Doc McStuffins. It’s basically a baby sensory video for him.

⭐️ When he’s in middlespace, he’ll sit in cuddys office and play of his gameboy. Sometimes Cuddy gives him little tasks to do that make him feel useful.
