Wow I'm sorry that it is literally taking ages for me to get to these things now buuut yes I work in the acute setting of physical therapy, meaning I work in a hospital. In the hospital setting, we're not worried about sprained ankles or arthritic knees (to some degree we are, but not all the time). We're more worried about making sure that you get out of bed after open heart surgery, making sure that you know what to expect right after a leg amputation, or how you're gonna have to change your whole life around after a spinal cord injury. It's a lot more heavy duty, both physically and emotionally and I absolutely love helping people go through the motions of all these incredibly traumatic experiences.
