Bed’s hair is dyed, not all the way to the roots but it’s a modification nonetheless. I remember CJ pointing out criken would be to one bleaching and dyeing his hair every now and then and I couldn’t resist that thought.

 Tomato, on the other hand, is a mutant, his red hair is natural and probably comes with being a rainbowdrinker, wouldn’t be surprised, if your skin glows white why wouldn’t your hair lose the original dark shade.

Anon hnhn don’t do this to me, this requires so much brainpower. I didn’t want to answer this ask but. Ahem. Design. I’m definitely keeping bed’s god tier, I feel unsure about the others, their story is organic, it’s not even a session.

Bed as the Seer of Blood, this role definitely suits him, it goes hand in hand with his rare mutation and god complex. Buck’s a Page of Void, I was this close from picking Doom but no one’s bringing doom, we know he has that pure nightmare fuel still in him, why not get in contact with the horrorterrors and become their weapon through going grimdark? Heir of Mind for crik, literally an heir. Can move from mind to mind, he knows how to put on different faces. Moving towards his goal. Lastly, Knight of Doom as tamto, this could result in a sacrifice BUT, listen to this, the more he kills the stronger he gets. Gains energy from the doom around him. He knows his stuff, goes by the rules and limits.

I have a lot on my mind and I hate making long paragraphs so I dunno, enjoy the art.

Anon I know exactly what you mean. Whenever there is a character that has something to do with fish/water, something in my brain snaps and I blackout for a second. As soon as I open my eyes, the character appears to have fin-ears and gills. Criken here is no exception. He IS a fish boy. Paradoxically, since he’s a seadweller and yet he displays signs of thalassophobia.

Wait, is Bed a Taurus? I can't find anything reliable that says his birthday except one thing that says its April 11th, but wouldn't that make him an Aries? When IS his birthday? :o (I'm in love w the Homestuck AU designs btw)

No no, he’s an Aries. The burgundy hues aren’t that visible, it does look bronze. But oh well, it seems I found the same date you did. That can’t be his actual birthday, I’ve been snooping around for hours and hours when I was creating his design for the first time but decided to stick to this, most likely incorrect, date. It’s really hard with Bed, not to mention zodiac signs are complicated af and oof I am nothing like mine, Bed could be standing at the opposite side of the hemospectrum, he could be another goddamn clown for crying out loud. I guess we’ll never know, but if anything solid surfaces, I am more than willing to change and adjust whatever the hell his caste would be. And thank you!
