I have selected the winners of my giveaway. I will contact them individually and discuss their prizes.
Thank you to those that followed me for my writing. I am not confident at all in what I write, so knowing that some of you liked me for my poor drabbles or headcanons is truly humbling. I hope that I can channel that energy into the other fandoms and genres that I continue to write for.
As a reminder, once i have contacted the winners, posted their rewards, and written for the last asks in my inbox, this blog will close. Thank you.

White Demon Love Song - 400th Follower Reward
Congratulations to @stonertokoyami for being my 400th follower! Thank you for being so patient with me in finally writing this piece. I went over the 500 word limit as a consolation for taking so long with this. I hope you enjoy it~
White Demon Love Song fic under the cut Rated: G
“It has to be here somewhere.”
Lyra pulled another book down from the shelf and laid it down with several miscellaneous items already spread out on the counter. Huffing a stray strand of white hair out of her face, she paused a moment to wrack her brain for any more ideas about where that thing could be hiding. She tapped a slender finger against the leather binding, thinking.
Something moved in the corner of her eye and then let out its own frustrated sigh. Lyra turned to Lucio who was standing, or floating truthfully, near the window, the soft sunlight that poured in filtered softly through his incorporeal form. Her golden eyes softened in understanding at his impatience.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure it’s around here somewhere,” she placated before turning back to the shelves. She pulled out more books and boxes, empty satchels, satchels that smelled and definitely needed to be emptied, and other things she didn’t recognize, but assumed Asra had brought back from his many travels. She was so consumed in her quest, for that thing, that she didn’t register the presence that had come to hover over her shoulder.
Lyra let out an excited sigh at discovering it. “Oh—!”
“What are you getting at anyway?”
Surprised by his proximity, Lyra jumped, banging her hand on the shelf and dropping the item she had found. It fell from her hand and bounced onto the ground with a metallic clinking noise before rolling away under the counter. She turned to Lucio now with a questioning look, but before she could ask what he meant, he continued.
“There’s no point to any of this.” Lucio’s shoulders. “None of those plebes even want me to come back. And you’re only here because you have to be …” His voice trailed off as he turned back to the window, bottom lip jutting out in a melancholy pout.
Lyra’s brow furrowed as she watched his back. Before meeting the Count, she had always had an internalized image of an imposing and grandiose man, someone who did not know the meaning of the word fear. But since she had discovered his ghost in his abandoned chambers and bound him to herself, she had grown to know him now as a man unsure of his place in the world and desperate to make his own way. That desperation was now giving way to desolation as they struggled to figure out what exactly they were doing.
“Lucio, what do you mean? About me only being here because I have to?”
He gave a derisive chuckle. “You bound yourself to me and now I can only go so far away from you. Why else would you be here? Why else would you want to hang around with—“ His voice caught in his throat.
The silence hung thick between them as Lyra thought about what to say. Something glittered on the ground, and thankful for the sudden distraction, she bent down to pick it up and slip the golden ring over her finger. In doing so, she almost missed what he said next.
“With a monster? I’m a monster.”
Lyra shook her head and strode toward him. He was staring down at his hands, flexing his golden fingers in horrid fascination. She took his hands in hers, squeezing his fingers in urgency. He gasped at the realization that they could touch now, completely, with no ethereal chill, and he felt as real under her fingertips as all of the trinkets that she had sorted through that day.
Still shaking her head, she finally answered him in a soft, yet matter-of-fact voice.
“You’re not a monster. Not to me.”
Lucio looked down at her, again surprised, this time by her words. Her eyes never wavered from his as she stared up at him, mouth set in a determined purse. Studying her for another moment, he let out a relieved laugh and returned the grip on his hands. A smile threatened the corner of his lips.
“Then I suppose that’s all that matters.”

Yes, they can enjoy those characters. I don’t care if you like Lucio, but to stan him to the point that you excuse the abuse he’s done against someone, that is the issue that I will call out. Because fandom does not exist in a vacuum and if someone is gonna excuse this, then I suspect they’d excuse it in real life too. (As another anon that Jaye replied to literally said)
what you and the rest of you antis did to caspin is fucking disgusting. if you hate SO MUCH a character that ISNT EVEN REAL, fine!! but dont ever go and ruin someone elses life over it i stg whats so complicated about that- anyways you and the rest of you dont deserve shit and i hope one day you truly realise what youve done –♈️
we didn’t even mention lucio tonight but go off ig? someones got a guilty conscience <3

????
just because they’re fictional characters doesn’t mean they can’t be written as abusive. how fucking dense are you anon???
and it’s real fucking funny that you say fictional, as if that doesn’t matter in the real world, but then say this is why no one takes victims seriously [in the real world]. it’s almost like how we interact in the real world affects how we interact within fiction, and vise versa. your racism and shit does not exist in a vacuum!
y’all really out here saying that fictional characters having conflict is abuse huh? you’re all exactly the problem of why nobody takes victims seriously. fuck off if you’re so miserable in the fandom, nobody is forcing you to partake. you celebrate other people’s unhappiness while ignorantly defending fictional app game characters. nasty
well the block button is free and also right there ;) you’re making me blush with all this attention <3

I called Caspin out because they excused Lucio’s abuse of Julian. It has nothing to do with hating Lucio. Funny you’d think that tho; is there something problematic with Lucio?? hmmmt

BUT (and I can’t believe I have to say this) I did not send any anon hate and I do not condone anyone that does. If you send anon hate, you’re a coward.
Thanks.
since i know people are gonna come here, here is what I have to say about THAT:
I’m gonna say my peace and then be done with this.
I was the one who called Caspin out on being an abuse apologist just before they deleted, and I stand by that.
Why did I say it? Because they excused Lucio’s actions of force feeding Julian a plague bug because they “didn’t trust Julian’s memory of the event” and even if it had happened “Julian himself said that Lucio was desperate for a cure, so it excuses what he did.” (I made a post about it several weeks ago when I first saw it.) Those excuses are textbook abuse apologist behavior.
It had nothing to do with them stanning Lucio; it had everything to do with them excusing Lucio’s abuse against Julian just to defend their ship (Jucio).
People excuse racism, they excuse abuse, and then want to cry wolf when it’s pointed out to them. I am sorry that they themselves are a victim of abuse, but that does not mean that they cannot be an abuse apologist (just like women have internalized misogyny).

Damn I'm so sorry. I've heard that this the fandom can be toxic but never imagined that it would be this bad. I love your blog and it sucks you just can't enjoy a fandom....
When you say abuse apologists are you talking about people who like Lucio? I'm so out of the loop....
Thank you, hun! I really do regret that it’s come to this, but blocking is not always enough and I just want to be able to live my life without all this drama.
As for the second part, yes and no? There are people who like Lucio but did not excuse what he did, and I have no problem with that, even tho I personally do not like Lucio. But the abuse apologists that I saw were mainly Lucio stans.

PSA - Closing this blog
I will stop posting to this blog (with the exception of RPs) following the end of my giveaway (July 20th). In the mean time, I will only post the three asks currently in my end box, and continue the role-plays that I am in. I will not be reopening my inbox. I will still do the giveaway prizes and post them late July/early August.
I have never fallen into and then out of a fandom so quickly in my life. My issues run the gambit from racism to transmisogyny to abuse apologists, but the biggest issue is those who (read: white people) refuse to listen to/care about POC who point out racism or straight up dismiss our feelings because it makes them uncomfortable. I am especially disappointed in my mutuals who continue to like/reblog callout posts but then continue to interact with the people addressed in those callouts. Tonight has been a very excellent example of my issues with the fandom.
I will continue to play the game on my own, but I am just too tired and my mental health is more important than this.
Peace.
#ooc#it's funny i made this choice to delete just this morning and then all this shit went down#i had this post ready since this morning

Even if, in some fantasy world, this person is correct that pey is in the wrong, misgendering pey is still a wrong that they did, no one forced their hand, and it is still their responsibility to apologize. Someone respecting your gender identity is not something you have to earn.
It gives me mad “I’m angry at you so im gonna use your deadname to hurt you” vibes

k then I’m warning ppl that you’re an abuse apologist.
Rule of thumb on tumblr don’t give the horrible people a bigger soap box to stand on. Just block them ignore them and move on. Warn people about their shitty nature but don’t give them a bigger platform to be shitty. It’s not worth it

Melphina was the perfect spectator. She oohed and ahhed appropriately at Ebony’s near misses and their subsequent victory, cheering them on all the while. She clapped and bounced on the balls of her feet when the vendor handed them their charm. “You did great, Ebony! Much better than I’ll do…”
Her voice trailed off when Ebony held out the charm to her. Looking at it, she started to laugh, hiding her mouth behind a hand as she did so. “Actually, this looks just like my familiar, Miok. I bet she’ll get a kick out of this. Thank you, Ebony.” Her eyes, now more blue than grey, shined brightly as she tied the string of the charm to the ribbon around her waist, letting the charm itself hang loose.
She then took the rings from Ebony. “Here I go!”
Whether she had jinxed herself or the gods had given the whole day’s worth of luck to Ebony, Melphina missed each bottle. Two tapped the side of a bottle before slipping down and between the others. One lodged itself sideways between the top of a bottle and the one next to it. But she simply threw her head back with another laugh, unsurprised. “I have always had really bad aim.
“Besides,” she continued when they turned away from the game, “it was a lot of fun and I already got a great gift.” She touched the charm at her waist and flashed Ebony another smile. “So, what should we do next?”
Overhead, the sky shifted, blue giving wave to orange and pink and red. The crowd was beginning to thicken with those coming to try something new for dinner or, if the fervent whispers were any indication, to witness the best fireworks show that had ever come to Vesuvia.
