2014 Budget Powerhouse Digital Metal Gear Servos from Power HD

I just came across these awesome new budget servos by Power HD. The performance and build quality are unbelievable in their class with MSRP at $26-28. Both LF-13MG and LF-20MG are Digital Servos packed with awesome features including aluminum mid casing, full metal gears, dual bearings, up to 6.6V input voltage with torque ranging from 13kg to 20kg. These servos are ideal candidates for 1/8 1/10 RC Crawler, Buggy, Truck, and On-Road. They would make a great choice for a "budget" upgrade from stock servos. I don't know about you but there are absolutely no reason not to give these a try. Happy RC Racing!

Introduction to Radio Control Models

My name is Louis Truong and I'm the proud owner of A Pro Hobbies RC Hobby shop. I started this blog with only one goal in mind, to get more people involved in RC hobbies. As of late 2012, Radio Control Models and technologies have been vast improved and taken off to an extremely high tech level ranging from Gas and Electric Powered Flybarless Helicopter, Airplane, Car, Truck, Buggy, and Boat.

Back in the days, there are only AM/FM transmitters existed that are prone to interference but now everything are equipped with high end 2.4Ghz transmitter/receiver that are interference-free. Futaba, Spektrum, JR, and Hitec are some of manufacturers who continuously making design improvement to their latest R/C transmitters and receivers with all the bell and whistles so you can be concentrating more on your flying or driving fun. 

Gone are the old days of R/C models equipped with brushed motors and NiCAD/NiMH batteries that would eventually become crawlers. Now a day, there are Brushless Motors, Brushless Speed Controller, and Lithium-Polymer (Lipo) batteries, which makes your models go vroom and wazooo....ok I'm joking...however with these upgrades your RC models will have tons of power and unmatched performance. A brushless system beats a brushed system at speed, torque, durability, can be fine tuned via PC and program card, and no worn brushes to be replaced. Lipo batteries give you longer run time and much more lighter in weight vs NiCad/NiMH. When combined, Lipo and Brushless System gives you the best performance unmatched by any brushed system.

I'm sure I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that. I really wish to get more people involved in this hobby. As I always say, RC hobbies are not for rich people, it is actually the people who made them rich and enjoyable to begin with. There are always a certain level in the hobby available to you.
