RM 2007-2008 : part of the Black Pirates crew

One of RM's earliest known collabs was with LUPE (now know as Changmo). Along with LUPE (Changmo) he was at least a semi-official member of the Black Pirates underground hiphop crew from around late 2007 to early 2008. It's said RM did his first stages with this crew but later left the group because they were more focused on fame instead of the music.

A part of the Black Pirates crew members reorganized into the Undisputed Ill crew. Despite RM leaving, he stayed in contact with the members and was part of several shows and collabs with both crews.

A wink to this part of his pre-debut history can be found in the "Thanks to" section of the BTS album "2 Cool 4 Skool" in which RM mentioned that he missed both the Black Pirates and Undisputed Ill.
