aHhh okay so the discussions of Titan!Megatron on @callsign-relic's blog have fully. FULLY taken over my brain and ive been drawing stuff for it for like the last few days nonstop

the tl;dr of this is AU is pretty much "what if Megatron got turned into a titan/cityformer as a form of penance/imprisonment and now roams the empty wasteland of Cybertron forever" plus "IDW Megatron has really fucked up internals so... what if that, but as a City?"

and of course since he's a Titan, that also means he has a cityspeaker... or three. One per sub-AU thing. Theres 3 options. 3 flavours of AU.

Hi. My battery is running out once again so design and art notes get chucked here instead of an image.

The cuffs and collar are hardwired into Megatron, so I made the lights the same colour as his biolights!

I imagine that on the tops of his shoulders there are solar panels, even if you can't see them here lol.

I really wanted to keep the swirly bits on Megatron's chest from IDW

Other art notes:

The second picture with the seekers is (loosely) inspired by a discussion about whether or not Megatron gets visitors or not. I thought about who would visit him and well... I think this is as close as Starscream realistically gets to visiting him.

Extra detail about that piece is that Thundercracker and Skywarp are keeping watch from above! Also drawing Megatron took me like 8 hours because I was struggling with his legs really badly kshffkbfkdsbdk,, the background went much faster, funnily enough.

Optimus specifically isn't wearing his Autobot badge any more.

This isn't relevant in this series of images, but Ultra Magnus's eye markings are only on the Magnus armour. His other two forms do not have them :] (... until he begins to discard the armour, that is.)

Megatron is roughly 3200m/2 miles tall. Technically he could have clouds around his knees, but I thought this looked a little bit cooler lol.

Also, height chart! Him big. I didn't even attempt to put a human for scale because that'd be. near impossible with this scale.

I love watching people get into transformers. I hyperfix to much so within a week I already knew to much. To the point I’m teaching my friend about transformers now. And this: this is the reaction I get. And I love it. Keep being adorably funny!

As a Transformers newbie introduced to it by a friend through TF One:

Me: *points at heavily pixelized random bot from TF One* Who's this one??

Her: That's Ironhide.

Me, confused: *points at another blurry picture* And this one?

Her: That's Prowl!

Me, incredulously: HOW CAN YOU TELL????? HUH???

Her, matter of factly: By his head.

Apparently in my native language: in transformers one they curse like seasoned sailors.

Like, they’ll drop F bombs like it’s a Tuesday morning. Never seen them curse so much before. It was weird.

Added fact: they were called drillers instead of miners. Even if they were called miners that joke wouldn’t make any sense.

TFP Soundwave may have a Vow of Silence, but that does not reduce his sass at all.

Remixes Optimus, blows out the Autobots audios, breaks his vow of silence JUST to say "You guys suck" via catchphrase, and then KOs himself out of sheer spite.

Amazing, wonderful, perfect, flawless.

A scenario where Percy actually met Brainstorm as Genitus even before the war but he doesn't remember it because Brainstorm had a different name, a slightly different frame, was not wearing a mask and maybe felt different somehow.

Anyway kind of wordy, I had to cram my idea in two pages because of time constraints ;u;.

(My original hc was that Quark and Brainstorm probably met early war instead of prewar. I had to adjust this because of the zine's prewar theme but one thing is consistent: Quark recognized his talents, believed in him, saved him from going back to the frontlines, and kept him as his lab assistant.).

And I thought maybe Percy, all through the war to post war, actually remembers Genitus, but failed to link him to Brainstorm, so he's very surprised to find out they are one and the same. He might have had some hope or respect for Genitus in the past, the same way he had it for others like him (Skyfire, or Wheeljack. or maybe Pharma from the medical field), and laments how he vanished (when he changed his name).

Probably Genitus started having a crush on both Perceptor and Quark, but Quark is more reachable, and Percy was uhh.. a. big shot, he thought he had no chance with him. So he focused on Quark.

Day five and six in one. : I hated doing the shadow work for this one. And I know it’s bad.

Another fun fact: base on their stories. The only two who would even meet is Hera. the blue-white bot and Namid. the black-pink glow bot.

Note: skipped day four because I don’t have a specific au I favour. So didn’t know what to do.
