Big lesson learned in my aquarium!
For a good few weeks I could not figure out what was wrong with my reef tank. Fish were acting funny, and corals were closed shut.  All my parameters checked out, and I was doing countless research and trying different products to get my corals to thrive.  Finally I found the Silent killer! I was doing a water change one day and felt the water; It was freezing! but my tanks digital thermometer was reading around 82 degrees.  I also at this point did not have a heater in the tank because I was trusting my digital thermometer read out.  Big Mistake! Checked my temperature with a different thermometer and it was reading 65 degrees! Bingo! I had found the problem.  I always now leave my heater in my tank to act as a fail safe if one or the other goes bad, ie digital thermometer or heater.  Don't make the same mistake I did, keep an eye on your digital temp, If it looks out of range and you see your heater is still working properly, change out the battery or purchase a new thermometer.
Here is a picture below of the Digital Thermometer I use!

100% Cotton vs. Stretch Jeans
I must say as a guy I was pretty disappointed the other day when I tried to go shopping real quick for a few pairs of jeans, only to find out that a lot of brands are now moving over to this ‘Stretch” material.  I don’t know if this is a money saver or what for the companies, but I am not a fan of it.  I had tried on a pair and it felt like I was wearing a wetsuit or women’s leggings. I will continue to be on the look out and change brands accordingly to stay with 100% denim!  What is your opinion?
