the childe spine scar, I'm obsessed with that, are you ok with other people using this headcanon/ drawing him with it as well?? it's so well thought out you're so right about it either way

I'm ashamed to come to the realization I may have somehow completely gaslit myself into thinking he actually did have a scar because I swore that in regards to the monster (he does actually talk about a monster that attacked him in the abyss when he was young) that it had branded him in some way.. but I suppose now that is also a headcanon. I may have accidentally jumbled it with the fact that Childe himself has stated that scars are the mark of a true warrior and are things to be proud of so it convinced me he must actually have at least ONE somewhere. But. You know, I completely gaslit myself HAHAAHAH. I'm so sorry that I also managed to do that to other people too. My friend laughed hysterically at me over coming to this conclusion.

Ooooo yknow Childe would absolutely do that to himself (spinal scar)! If it's not too much a bother, I was also curious about his chest scar (looks like a big X or a +), and the scar on his upper left shoulder (it looks almost like a burn!). You've done the scars so well I can't help but be curious lol

Im happy to hear that you agree with the spine HC. To keep it brief about the other ones though, his chest situation is really simple actually. He has extremely messy top scars with no nipple grafting, with a large scar slightly horizontal from his collar bone to above his pelvic bone indents; which is from the monster that attacked him when he first fell into the abyss. The shoulder situation is indeed a burn but it’s an electrical one. I’d rather believe that he has had some form of backlash early on when trying to conquer electro as an element, since I can imagine trying to wield a brand new element that is different from one you’ve already mastered could prove to be difficult. But knowing him he’d figure it out quick which is why I think he’d only have probably one scar in regard to that.

Those are mostly my thoughts when it comes to all the scars I give him ! The small scars and cuts from trial and error as a seasoned and highly skilled warrior, they truly show how much hardship he would go through to be as fearsome as he is. Mostly gained from his own recklessness above them being given through being bested or injured by others imo.
