wanted to open a little bookish place where I could recommend books I loved and the ones I didn't like at all. a sort of list of titles I read during the years, to keep them in one place with their reviews ! — I mostly read historical fictions / history and archaeologic titles / thriller and horror ; but being a curious person by nature, makes me read and be interested in almost every genre.

to be completely honest, I kinda like how this year began. my birthday was at the end of March ( not so long ago ;; ) and I love what I received. the list includes: elden ring artbooks, a bunch of very interesting books that I bought with a 30€ gift card, a new cover for my diary, hua cheng doll !!!

I'm also very lucky because I was chosen for an archaeological excavation in September, the same site I'm doing thesis on! I'm really excited about it, it would be my first experience of this kind and I can't wait. However I need to write my thesis first and that work, unfortunately, is not an easy one. I started the first chapter but I'm still unsure of how it's coming out. I'm not a very self conscious person and I underestimate myself most of the time, but I'll try to stay positive and continue it with the main goal: the archaeological excavation in September.

The new year is already here and i have to admit i'm starting it with a positive mindset after a while. I really have a lot of projects in store, firstly and most importantly my degree in archaeology that I have postponed since now. I hope to be able to be on this blog more and be consistent with my posts. I want to take my life into my hands and make it better — read more, travel more if possible and study more.

I hope this new year find everyone well and you all be able to accomplish everything you couldn't in the past — just follow your dreams and be happy, even if I know that could be difficult somedays. let's just welcome this new year — ps. thanks to everyone who has liked my posts until now !
