Reblog if it's OK for other artists to draw your OCs
Sometimes I get too timid to send asks to ask. I want to see how many people are ok with artists drawing their OCs!

hey out of curiosity how and why did Bez fall?
Simply put, the council deemed that he was becoming too hard to handle and deal with. His abilities were useful, sure, but unhindered they were dangerous; wild; chaotic. Very unlike the orderly and pristine nature of Heaven that many angels prided themselves in. Combine that with his growing distaste for the Council and his unrivaled, ambitious ideals, they deemed Bezaliel too dangerous to keep around and ordered for his fall once they'd properly established themselves after God's absence. (The formation of the council, in and of itself, was something Bezaliel was a known and vocal critic of.) Not only that, but they wanted a scapegoat to blame for His disappearance. And, given Bezaliel's history of challenging heaven's ideas, norms, and generally breeding dissention between those of both the council and heaven in general, they were all too happy to get rid of him.
So, when he was officially sentenced to fall, they made it into a public spectacle. There, in front of the crowds of Heaven's residents, he was shamed, blamed for everything in bold, golden letters, and stripped of his intangible wings and given those made of blood and feathers. They embedded inhibitor cuffs to his wrists, the act again made into an act of authority and power by the council, and then violently threw him from heaven into the bloody throws of Hell.
His fall was nothing but a matter of convenience, when you boil everything down.

Ruler of Hell, Father of Lies: The Fallen Angel, Lucifer Whatever the name you use, whatever his title may be, his infamy stretches far and wide. His name is spoken in hushed whispers between the council and growled through angry grumbles from those who wish they could forget the stain on the glory of the angelic council and what He created. Traitor: doomed to Fall, damned to Hell. (Alt design + full body / outfit ref below the cut!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The gold-plated legs are completely optional. Both refs are accurate to his character, and therefore "canon" to him. All up to personal preference which one is used!
I loved designing him, and he's been on my mind a LOT lately haha. Glad I can finally share him!

☾ Hello. I am still unsure of what I am doing (or what a 'tumbler' is...) but I have enough free time at the moment to answer questions or respond to any other words you may have for me.
I am open to almost anything, but please do keep the questions...appropriate. Thank you.

Some Casual Bez Sketches since I haven't made enough of 'em yet Bezaliel really, really likes jewelry, and he has a lot of them that he's gotten as gifts from others. Some, are angels on the council, others used to be humans and other beings of that nature before they disappeared. I could imagine getting some of his collection from Greed as well. Fun fact: Bez's wings aren't made of light like Gabriel's and other angels- void's are actually real wings with feathers and stuff. They are actually kind of big compared to his size, making them somewhat cumbersome and hard to lug around. Distaste forms in his mouth if voi stares at them for too long.
And yes, the cuffs are embedded into his arms. Surprisingly, he likes the way they look, even if they limit his abilities quite a substantial amount. He can live with them now even if he hates the council for putting them there in the first place

Ethyrion - The Fatebringer - He/It/Null Ethyrion (pronounced EE-th-Ear-EE-ON, not EE-ther-EE-un) is known as The Fatebringer, or the judge of fate.
(More under cut)
He has no solid ties to anyone, be that the council, those within hell, or those like the machines. That being said, null is known to feel very positively of Bezaliel and seems to have a brotherly sort of relationship to the fallen angel. Not that he'd admit that aloud, its not one to share such information.
Ethyrion has a twisted sense of balance and order, which leads to the shaky relationships with others. One minute, its morals align with the heavenly council, then in an instant, null fights alongside those like King Minos. There's been a few times where the morality shifts in the middle of a fight.
The best comparison to use would be him seeing others as pawns in chess, rather than one force or another. Everything is a convoluted game, and playing pieces in certain manners elicits different results. At least, that's what Ethyrion believes.
Null also sees others and believes that they have certain paths to follow: paths of fate. His goal in life is to make certain fates reality, while others are lost to time. It's all in his hands, and it doesn't take this power lightly. Not in the slightest.

Now that I think about it, that makes a ton of sense! I think that, before Bezaliel's exile, their interactions would be pretty standard- or even able to be considered somewhat amicable. Post-Exile though, I could see the tensions being really high if voi ever were to show up at heaven's gates. The kind of hostility that poisons and lingers in the air. Bez would definitely harbor feelings of betrayal and resentment after their relationship goes sour, forming some kind of deeper grudge. After Gabriel's Massacre, Bez would feel semi-soothing satisfaction knowing that the council was wiped out, but also feel a little conflicted because of the few good interactions he had. If/when he sees Yuriel afterwards I would think that it would take a while for void to come to terms with the change of tone. All of those years in exile built resentment in every part of his being- especially given how the council embedded restraining cuffs into void's arms. I feel like he'd come around eventually, but it would take a while to break through his knee-jerk hostility and instinct to be cold/distant around those who were affiliated with the council. It's very fun to think about! (Anything here isn't absolute of course. This is mostly me just tossing out ideas to think on, so if you have anything to change or add feel free to do so)
This will seem random, but how do you think Yuriel and Bezaliel would react to seeing each other and/or act around each other? No need to answer if you don't want to or can't think of anything! I am just being a curious void creecher lol
ooooh
voi has/had a bad relationship with the council right? so if they interacted when yuriel was still the gate guardian, before the massacre of the Council, yuriel probably wouldn't be very friendly
due to personal reasons (wanting their respect to rise above Gabriel), Yuriel was a definite Council supporter during that time until gabriel made her see reason post-massacre (she had a sword pointed at his throat)
AFTER the massacre, yuriel is desperate to make amends for her actions. so she'd be a lot more approachable!

Possible new sona? Yep.
Not sure what name to give it yet, maybe it’ll be Arch, but it’ll probably be something else tbh. I’ll have to think about it
Null has 8 wings if you count the ones on his face.
