Whenever Ono performs, he will put the character's happiness first to understand, and in Izaya's JP VA Kamiya Hiroshi's birthday special episode on their DGS radio, he also sincerely and directly asked him, "What is happiness for you?"

Ono: Whenever I perform a role, I think about what happiness is for them... For Shizuo, it must be Izaya. Because they have a past, there must be a thought in the corner of his heart that he hopes to go back to the past. Shizuo's code of conduct is partly due to Izaya, and he also wants to do something for the people around him. These are his purpose of living.
