Hey team. Earlier today, my dearest friend in the world @lostwolfling​ had her apartment burglarized. She lost her laptop, her kindle, and a large amount of cash. Some of you from the older ASOIAF and BSG fandoms may know her as Mira, or wolfheartedqueen, or a variety of other names. She has written thousands upon thousands of words of fic, meta, dozens of graphics, and stuck up for the little guy to her detriment countless times. And for many of us, she has been the shoulder to cry on, the person to keep us steady, and help us see the morning. She has always given, to the point where she has given all she has. 

Mira is the sole reason I am still alive.

She is already in a precarious financial situation. The people who took from her stepped over a bare mattress and through a room devoid of furniture to steal what she had, plus her sense of security in her own home. I will personally be donating what I can from my upcoming paychecks to help replace her laptop, an old chromebook that was barely functioning anyway.

Mira has survived a childhood of severe abuse, PTSD, and sexual assault. Believe me when I say that she deserves the best. At the bare minimum, she deserves to have the coping mechanism of coming home from a 12 hour shift at a sales job and being able to open her laptop and watch Netflix, play a game, or check Twitter. She deserves to be able to read a book. She deserve to be comfortable in her own bed.

So, I’ve had this blog for exactly four years, and I’ve decided that I need a fresh start. I also want to tag things better (oddly enough this is why I remade my first blog). I’m moving to andromedatonks, but I’ll probably go back to revionreyes in a couple weeks. I will keep up this blog though, in some form, as an archive. If we’re mutuals and you want to break that, here is your uncomplicated, non-awkward chance. If we’re mutuals and you don’t want to break that, I will more than likely follow you back.
