What do your hobbies look like?

I basically live at my job but I do enjoy reading a bit. I like cooking and trying new recipes, I like puzzles, though they're time consuming and I don't always have the time to sit there and do them all.

My daughters. They're so young and they've been through a lot but they're both incredible young ladies

Bath or shower to relax?

Bath. I'm talking I do the face mask, the cucumbers on the eyes, a glass of wine in hand, the whole nine yards.

“Fair and fair.” Soren shrugged and figured it couldn’t hurt to go and smoke with him. It wasn’t like he didn’t anything like that regularly, how bad could it be to just life a little?

“Nothing particularly interesting, just ex wife in town, my teenager has a major attitude towards me and it’s just been hard with her rebelling. You know, just not really fun stuff. Are we gonna go?”

"That's something a cop would totally say." Sebi flashes a smile back towards the man. "Man, I'm way too busy in life to deal with disposing a dead body."

“Yeah of course.” Especially with all that Soren had going on in his life he’s not really sure what possessed him to allow his daughters to adopt a dog now anyway. “We’re working on not being a total menace.” Soren laughed.

“Oh, I know. It’s pretty awful which is why panini here almost gave me a heart attack.” He huffed out a little laugh that time. “You mean that? You really wouldn’t mind?”

“Nah, puppies can be a lot.”

Vet or not, every animal is unpredictable. “You should definitely get that fixed, otherwise she’ll keep getting out. I know we live in a suburb, but some people still speed around here.” It’s not that Fletch wants to put the image in Soren’s head, but it’s better than finding the real thing all due to an accident.

“If you got a hammer and nails and just a patch of wood, I can do that for you right now,” he then offers. “Just temporary, it won’t look nice, but until you get someone who can fix a fence right it’ll keep her in.”

There was something about Freyja that Soren found intriguing and they seemingly got along pretty well, so when he heard about the prom he thought it might be fun to ask her. He was excited when she said yes and next thing he knew he had his daughters helping him pick out a tux.

"Well I hope I can give you a great night then." Soren smiled at her. "They're great! Helped me pick this out and everything. What do you think?' He grinned and turned around so he could show off the front and back of his suit.

"You look incredible tonight. Thank you for coming with me."

⸻ Freyja was a bit surprised by the invitation she received from Soren. Fun fact, she has never been to a prom before, not like the American movies. She was homeschooled, which explains why time to time, she struggles with interacting with people, even though what she does for work makes her more 'social' and 'extroverted', when in reality she's introverted and shy. ❛ This is my first prom. Thank you for the invitation. How are the girls? ❜

Soren gave the little boy a smile as the child reminded him of himself when he was that age. Timid, though he had a love for animals even that young. He acted that way more towards humans than animals. “Eh, it’s alright. No need in forcing it, though enjoying is always good.”

Kangmin crouched as the two year old ran back to him, feeling both shy and scared in that moment. "You see, buddy. They're harmless." he assured the boy, who only shook his head. With a light chuckle, he stood up, adjusting his son in his arms to not get his shirt dirty. "Yea, I don't think it's gonna work. Maybe in another year or so."

“Yeah, I mean.. I remember being that way to mine.” Though Soren had always been a bit timid so he didn’t have as much of an attitude with his parents as his daughters did towards him. He understood though, their mom leaving was hard on them. He’d probably act like that too if a parent had abandoned him.

“Hopefully soon, ya know..” he breathed. “You have kids? Or young nieces and nephews?”

Ripley didn't have children—he'd never truly wanted them or found a partner that he wanted them with. Probably because he didn't exactly do the whole relationship thing very well. He tended to focus more on his work. "I remember when I was that way towards my mom. Though she blew up our family and moved in with my dad. She'll grow out of it." He smiled. "I get that."

Soren laughed at the idea of the goat fighting off paparazzi. “I encourage demolishing the paparazzi so she can continue her outrage and I’ll cheer her on from the sidelines.”

“Eh, we’ll need to get her to stop being a diva soon because paper really isn’t good for her. We’ll have to name to Chappell if she doesn’t have one already.”

“Soren. Nice to meet you.”

Eyes widen at the musing and Zoe glances immediately in the direction of the goat, fighting a laugh as she watches the animal comically munching away on its own flyer, unbeknownst to the handler. "That goat clearly hates the fame," she says with a smirk, glancing his way. "She doesn't want to be recognized and have some crazy paparazzi moment. Nah I think we should absolutely respect her right to privacy." She gives a thoughtful pause, Zoe much more of a city girl. "Unless we're about to watch it keel over and die from eating too much paper. Then we probably need to intervene, just so we don't help scar the entire population of Aurora Bay children. Otherwise, nah. She's in the Chappell Roan era. Eat those flyers, girl!"

Zoe does not, in fact, look to determine if the goat is male or female. It's all about the vibe. "I'm Zoe, by the way," she adds with a smile. @sorenxdavenport

"When my ex wife and I were dating in college she invited me to a Halloween party at a bar, we dressed up and all that. Well, she told me the wrong time so I showed up almost two hours early and couldn't get ahold of her because she was in an exam. I was sitting at the bar, the only one dressed up because the party hadn't started yet, and I was dressed as a slice of bacon. She was dressed as an egg, I don't know, we thought it'd be funny to be breakfast food, I guess."

Running the Reef had become easier over time and yet there was always still a few things that would catch him by surprise. Little things about the bar that he didn’t account for. Like the college crowd, breaking the cues to the pool table cause they were having some sort of light saber duel. Or a couple playing darts but a revealed infidelity had turned into trying to throw that darts at one another. Kaede was convinced he couldn’t be more surprised sometimes and yet it always happened. The couple currently being escorted out was another story

Talk about a happy memory you share with your dad.

The first time one of his books was turned into a movie he brought the whole family to walk the red carpet of the premiere with him. It was amazing seeing him beaming at how much his hard word had paid off. I'm really, really proud of him, and that day was just such a surreal moment for all of us.

"It's a struggle to try and get my girls to think about living healthy life styles when sweets exist. I don't often buy them because of it, especially not a lot. I severely lack self control when it comes to anything sweet. Ice cream, pastries, pancakes, whatever."

"Sprinkle some pecans on top and I still love cherries, of course, and there ya have it! Simple. Sweet. Delicious." Soren grinned. "We better get going then. I'm Soren."

"Oh, yeah that can definitely be hard. I know my nephew will easily get a sweet tooth from me when he gets older. I don't think I have that amount of self control when it comes to brownies." Addison did try to have better eating habits and she normally did pretty good, but sweets easily ran the night shift.

"I know I said chocolate sauce, but it's really hot fudge for me. A good vanilla sundae with hot fudge and little peanut pieces can make any day better for me. I'm curious about your toppings choices with this caramel so we better hurry before the 8pm crowd." @sorenxdavenport
