so I finished Veilguard, and I won’t get into spoiler territory, but I was certain that the game would make me want to change things that I had pre-established regarding my Rook’s backstory, but if anything, what the game provided me with only cemented my choices, the only exception being that, before they announced the faction stories, I was convinced an Antivan Crow Rook would be talon, which is still the case for my Rook regardless of game canon because… quite honestly the game is so lenient with its handling of crows and what it takes to become one, that Rook being a talon or not would just involve…. More bureaucracy?
