I can now show you this pendant and earrings set that I made for a special birthday. There’s a lot of thought and meaning behind the design. The shape represents a ‘waning gibbous’ moon, which is where the moon was in the lunar cycle on the day the recipient was born. They were born under the water sign ,Cancer, hence the waves and shimmering water like texture. The 4 balls on the pendant represent immediate family members and I’ve added rubies, which is their birthstone. The back has been hallmarked with a #londonassayoffice hallmark and includes the #platinumjubilee mark. There’s been some wild nightlife at our house!! 🤪 . Our cat Finn is one of those ‘sleep all day prowl all night’ kind of cats so we put food out for him at night. By morning the bowl is always licked clean and for ages we had suspected two neighbourhood cats, Pompom and Splodge (not their real names) were emptying the bowl. However, last night we saw this little fella tucking in 😀 This is Milligan (real name) and he/she clearly has quite an appetite. Good morning folks! Hope everyone is keeping safe, well and occupied. I’ve been busy with orders this week. Seems there are a lot of birthdays coming up in the next few days. Workroom makeover is still ongoing. I’ve reorganised the packing area and it’s so much better than it was before. The racks on the wall are supposed to be for keys and post but are perfect for my labels, business cards and postcards with chains in the little bags on the colour coded clips beneath. It flows so much better when everything has a place and is well organised.
