while I’m on a bit of an Italian kick, happy throwback thursday! this was a comfort meal I indulged in during a work trip to NYC from a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel I was staying at.
spaghetti and clams has been one of my favorite meals since I was little. in the back is a Hendricks martini with a twist, a favorite since I was not so little.

After 9 days of eating our way through the Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna regions of Italy, our first meal back in Los Angeles was a late lunch/early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in the valley. This dish is considered an entree, and the chutney is so savory and crunchy, and is finished with a little hit of spice from the chili oil.
