Just finished Episode 1 of Tales Unrolled: Alma and enjoyed it a lot! Fun cast who all brought their own flavor to the table, Luis is great as DM, and clearly a lot of thought and care infused throughout the whole thing. Banana is a verb, never trust a child with your shaved ice (maracuya IS the best flavor), magical alpaca births, the water carrying lesson is not for us to know, and always roll high when ferrying a cute girl around in the cenote

I watched critical role’s wildemount wildlings campaign and absolutely loved it!! Everyone’s character was delightful and toff mazery’s designs are so full of charm, it made me want to try drawing the campers in the tlovm style! 🏕️✨

Honestly it's so funny that we know Essek's intelligence score. We have so little else about his stats, but we do have his exact intelligence score pinned, cuz he happened to get roped into being thrown into one of if not the only scenario in the entire dang game where that exact number is relevant. Otherwise we could've gone on forever with, "Well, as an NPC wizard he sure does have a high int mod."

But no, now we know that he's the smartest boi because he happened to get dragged into the Astral Sea with another wizard with whom he was engaged in flirtatious competition. 😌

if you're a fan of Luis Carazo's actual play work in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, Candela Obscura, LA By Night, DesiQuest, or the myriad other shows he's been on, you should know that a D&D AP he's GMing premiered last night (April 29), Tales Unrolled. It features an all Latino cast with a setting drawn from Latin American culture and folklore (interview about that), produced by Sonoro Media.

The cast includes Mayanna Berrin (StoryQuest), Oscar Montoya (Dimension 20: A Court of Fey & Flowers), Christian Navarro (also a guest on Critical Role, Godkiller: Oblivion), and Camila Victoriano (new to D&D! very exciting).
