Welcome to Elizabeth Arkham Asylum, a psychiatric hospital dedicated to help the mentally ill, criminally insane, and those just in need of a hand to guide them on their steps to recovery. As caretakers for our patients, it is our job to provide them in a positive environment which will aid them on their steps to recovery. We will try our best to help those in need of psychiatric treatment, even those who seem like they’re beyond help, after all that’s our job. The Asylum was founded in 1931 by Amadeus Arkham.

Please read and follow our hospital’s policies:

1.) Due to Arkham’s brutal history, we ask that each mun is of legal age in order to participate in this verse. There is a high chance that 18+ themes will occur. I do apologize for those of you that aren’t of legal age.

2.) There also may be self harm, drug use (well it is a hospital after all), alcohol, smut, violence, etc. We will make sure each thread containing these themes will be tagged appropriately, if you are an individual who is easily triggered, and one of these themes happens to bother you, please for your safety, or for the sake of you being comfortable, please don’t join.

3.) To keep everything nice and friendly, I ask that there isn’t any drama between muns at all, we don’t want the group verse to seem like it contains a hostile environment, it may also risk other muns feeling as if the group is unsafe to roleplay in due to issues between other roleplayers. We’re here to have fun, not argue.

4.) While I do appreciate people joining, if more than one mun enters the same muse, I will only be picking one. It will cause less confusion between the rest of us.

5.) Just because you join, doesn’t mean you’re in, I will be carefully reading what information you put about your muse.

6.) Sideblog muses (please state sideblog URL), as well as OCs, are welcome.

7.) I will be allowing people to enter more than one muse, the maximum is three. If you put in more than one muse, and these muses happen to be on sideblogs, please send in information for each muse separately.  

8.) This group verse is open to both mutuals and non-mutuals

9.) I advise those of you whom have been welcomed into the group to track the tag (V. Inside These Walls)

10.) I’m also looking for admins to help conduct the group and keep things orderly.
