Listen to me people. Kiritsugu does not hate king arthur. he does not have some sort of issue with sexism where he doesn't think a woman can be king. The reason he left the room after summoning saber - which irisviel stated - is that he was furious with the society she lived in that forced a little girl to take the role of a great king. the reason he didn't say that to her is because he knows that it's not his place to judge her culture. It's the same anger he felt at irisviel's situation, because he Hates that she was created as a tool and forbidden to really explore the world she was born into, and similarly, he is not in a position to speak out against this and change it. it's an anger born from empathy, because he knows what it's like to be a child whose destiny is decided for them through the actions or wishes of uncaring adults. his own father doomed him to become the person he is through his negligence and desperation to further his studies. and kiritsugu, person that he is, role that he fills, no longer feels he has the right to criticize the cruelty in which other people engage, because he's become a part of it. THAT'S why he can't face saber. THAT'S the foundation of the impassable wall between them. kiritsugu could not give less of a hot shit that saber is a woman. he's angry because she was a CHILD.
