The Transformation Stones
They are the key to turn Pokémon into a human-like form. Their origins are yet to be researched, but they are at least thousands or even millions of years.
By touching the glowing Bulbasaur-like shaped rock, Pokémon can be temporarily transformed. This effect lasts up to 3-5 days. This stone is also used as an ingredient for a serum that can make Pokémon permanently transformed.
The stones were first found and documented at the Changestone Cave in Unova like in this example right here. However, there's some variations that were found in different regions:
Cerulean Cave in Kanto
Mount Silver Cave in Johto
Seafloor Cavern in Hoenn
Mount Coronet in Sinnoh
Reflection Cave in Kalos
Ten Carat Hill in Alola
Mines in Galar
Area Zero in Paldea (especially in underdepths)
Those stones are different from the example, however, they all share the same shaped rock.
