Notes: I recently attended a gingerbread house making party that went disastrously. Well no, wait, the party was fun. It’s just the houses that were disasters! We couldn’t get the walls to hold together and there was no way the roofs were going to stay up there. Of course, Christine wouldn’t have that problem! Rose eating it before it’s done though? Probably yeah. 

Thank you for introducing me to this show! It’s a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. :)

Thank you for sharing this manga, I enjoyed it a lot! The frame narrative that these are all being told by the same storyteller is fun but my favorite spin on it was definitely the story where Shiranui's the one listening to the kappa tell her side of things. So here he is interviewing the Corner-san kid. Hope your winter holiday of choice was enjoyable, and here's to surviving 2019.

Notes: A submission for @art-yuletide . Pajama party/Game night! I’m imagining the girls playing Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, unfortunately I still don’t have enough a grip on their personalities to know who’s playing as what character. ^^; But based off gut instinct:

Abby: either someone cute like Jigglypuff or Luigi because of the Luigi’s mansion games. Patty: a hard hitter of some kind, like Bayonetta or maybe Ike. Erin: I see as one of the many sword characters, maybe Lucina, Roy, or Link. Jillian: my first thought is Incineroar, haha, seems to fit her style. 

But like I said, I never got a full grip on their personalities where I could be waaay off. (Not to mention there’s so many Smash characters I’m still learning ‘em!)

So I’ve never seen this recent Ghostbusters, and I’m honestly really not a fan of the original, but the gang for this one seemed fun enough where I decided I wanted to look into it and draw them. All in all, research left a positive enough impression where despite my distaste for the original, I might check this version out someday. :)

Notes: Due South is a good show! Your notion of it's magical realism aspects and fine scenery rearoused my curiosity towards the show. Thank you for reminding of it. :-) I was supposed to create something with Chicago scenery and try to capture some magical realism in it, but snowy trees and skiing had been on my mind so much lately that these guys just had to end up traveling through the wintery forest. Hope you can enjoy this "alternative" sledding scene where the sledge is pulled by our protagonist instead of doges. Happy New Year! :-)
