I chose Mother Teresa as my source of inspiration in honoring women in history by creating this handcrafted upcycled bottle lamp with a handmade acrylic on canvas shade. The abstract painting of the shade is representative of her portrait with layered brushstrokes of tanned flesh tones and blue striped veil. The bottle was carefully selected- The Priest Pinot Noir by Conviction wines ties in perfectly with its illustration of the priest and church further solidify the religious theme with the added touch of a rosary as worn by Mother Teresa.
