Artel "VYAZ". Vikings. North. Aesthetics
2 posts
Hello you, honest people, from young to old! We are called Artel "VYAZ". Far away our workshop is at the very foot of the Ural mountain ranges. We’re getting along, we’re strange things, from solid wood and not only .... For eye delight, help for the farm. A good tool for vocal skalds. Axes - for noble men. For the girls of red - the decoration is different. We live in harmony with Mother Nature in honor of the gods of the forest and the heavenly. We do not repair all atrocities in the forest - we don’t take the living and the superfluous. Allow me to share with you the beauty and the gifts of our land! https://vk.com/v_ay_z

Talharpa is a Swedish national instrument, the closest relative of the Youhikko and a worthy representative of the family of bowed lyres. As a rule, Talharp has four strings and a wide slot for the game, which allows the performer to clamp all the strings. The shape of the tool is simple, rectangular, in contrast to the jouhikko, the design is more bulky and wide.
Youhikko is an ancient Finnish string instrument with deep historical roots. The old name of the instrument - youkhikantele - is translated as a bowed kantele, which is considered the main ancestor of this wonderful instrument. Some researchers believe that the Youhikko comes from Harpp’s earlier Finnish instrument. Others draw a parallel with Nars-Yukh, a Ugric musical instrument (Khanty and Mansi). Youhikko has two or three strings of twisted horsehair
