Talharpa is a Swedish national instrument, the closest relative of the Youhikko and a worthy representative of the family of bowed lyres. As a rule, Talharp has four strings and a wide slot for the game, which allows the performer to clamp all the strings. Youhikko is an ancient Finnish string instrument with deep historical roots.
