Care and keeping of a me 1/?

So I've noticed that Gem has started pumping me full of food just as soon as I snack on cheese. He's recognized that it's my go-to protine-seeking snack, for when I'm actually hungry.

He just forced a good deal of his food down my throat. I need to start noticing as well.

Kit is startinf to talk more and it's great.

Boss, standing at the top of the stairs as kit finished in the bathroom-- "Its bedtime buddy."

Kit, walking past dad with his pad down to the living room-- "It not time."

Boss-- "No, c'mon, it's bedtime."

Kit, from living room sitting on couch-- "It not time."

I have a real problem fighting down the impulse to just reach down into the frying pan and flip whatever it is I’m frying over with my bare hands. Like I’ll be fiddling around down there with some fucking spatula or whatever and some part of me will be like “you can just reach down if you’re quick and precise enough. It’ll be fine don’t worry”

Sometimes it breaks me. It just utterly ruins me how much power they have over me.

My world is doomy stormclouds, death is everywhere in my life and possibly even looming toward my door.

And yet, tonight I lay my head down with the love of my life beside me, and my best friend a room away. And my path still feels clear. Little boys will soon lay with us, my little loves.

My heart is whole and happy. My family is my anchor, no matter what storms come. I'm somehow still ok. I'm somehow still safe. Because of them.

The Alzig has always been my personal rune. A protective symbol, with attached meaning of divine purpouse. A guardians duty to their charges. And then life took me here and I have them and I suddenly realized why I'm here.

And without them, I would be nothing.

Just ate a half can of peaches (with my fingers). I then found the gram crackers my beloved stashed next to the bed, whispered "carbs" conspiratorily to noone, and set upon then like a savage creature.

Whew, finally back from school! Now that I’m free, it’s time to reassemble one of my best school essentials for next quarter—tiny, reusable packets of herbs that are perfect for spells on the go (or spicing up a dull meal…what’s the difference, really?). 

While I love the look of tiny bottles for portable ingredients, they’re not as space-saving as these repurposed straws. So though my best staples get bottled for easiest refills, I like to keep the odd ingredient (or extra backups of the classics) rattling around in my pockets like this! Some things to keep in mind:

Only melt the ends as they’re separated from the herbs by the pliers/tweezers—food safe plastic or not, you still don’t want that melting on your ingredients!

Most straws work for this, but thin plastic straws may warp and bubble further up the tube before the ends seal shut; try a few tests, and heat with care.

While I always carry around a pen knife, if you don’t, consider keeping these in a little pocket tin with a razor blade for easy opening. Cutting the small notch in the end is pretty effective for fingers-only opening, but may cause leaks in fluid-filled packets and should be avoided in those cases. Small, neat incisions with a knife also make for easier sealing for reuse! 

EDIT: while I didn’t touch on it too much here, I also use these to prepare ready-made spells. If you’re doing this, consider matching the color of the candle and straw to the spell intent!

Tip: Trace this sigil with your finger using your own energy over a handful of peanuts and leave them as offerings where crows are known to hang out. Peanuts are a favorite treat of crows and this is a great way to show you’re friendly towards them.

There's an old Christian story about a beggar and a rich man who both gave offerings to the church. The beggar gave a single coin and the rich man gave hundreds. But the story was very clear that the gift of the beggar was the same, if not more than, the one from the rich man, in that instance. He had hundreds more to himself.

The beggar gave only what little he had. But it was enough.

And if even that testy asshole can be make due on pennies, I feel better about leaving the backyard fey a tiny piece of chocolate and a dollop of honey. I didn't have much of either but they were content.

Don’t let anyone tell you pouring your last can of soda down your college’s bathroom sink isn’t a perfectly valid offering.

Releasing Spell

Hi there! I decided to post this because it’s been extremely helpful for me, and I’m sure it will be for everyone else too!! It’s a super easy spell I love to do.

This spell can get rid of your doubts or can get rid of a negative situation.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Piece of paper. Lined or printer is fine.

Black pen or marker.

The elements, be safe with them.

STEPS:

First, write down every single doubt you have on that piece of paper, or instead, write down the situation you want to get out of.

If you’re using fire,

BURN THAT BITCH.

If you’re using water,

DROWN THAT BITCH.

If you’re using the earth,

BURY THAT BITCH.

If you’re using air,

FLY THAT BITCH.

That’s it.

For fire, burn it and rid of the ashes. For water, soak it until the words are unreadable then flush it down the toilet. Earth, bury it. Air, rip it up on a windy day and throw it into the wind.

Using the elements will allow the negativity to detach from you.

Soft and Sweet

This is a very soft, gentle, and passive blessing for those who are constantly under a lot of stress or seem to be suffering a lot of misfortune. 

Spell components • Powdered sugar • Soft natural wool yarn • Sunlight • Dried lavender • A bottle • A tag lock of the one you’re doing the spell for

Best performed during a waning moon. Ideally performed the day after the moon is full.

On a sunny day, take all your spell components somewhere there is plenty of sunlight and where people either go to relax or play. Take your powdered sugar and lavender and mix, letting it sit.

Take the yarn and make a string about seven (single) arm lengths long. As you do so, let it gather the sun’s energy and catch a calm breeze. Take the string and lay it in the sugar, being sure to work it and some of the lavender into the yarn. As you do so, use the following rhyme and speak it over the sugar bowl softly.

“Soft and sweet Rest your feet Hope and heart Shall not part Chin kept high See the sky Soon at last This shall pass”

Take the tag lock, which can be anything from a picture, to a name, or even something like hair or the like if you got it, and wrap it up in the sugary wool yarn. Should you feel it’s appropriate, you might want to kiss the bundle before putting it into the jar. 

Put the jar somewhere it can get lots of sun.
