I did actually consider it once- but idk if I'd do enough to justify making one dedicated to it (too many times I'd start up a blog with that purpose and then hardly post there lol).

I have one for my original comic Boxing Bugs, and one for a cuphead comic called Comeback King. Both are on hiatus- there's some others but those are completely dead basically.

hi i dont mean to be rude like the other anons they're jerks. im curious what is the appeal of gender bending one spy x spy or tom and jerry?wouldn't they be a different character at that point? it seems imbalanced gender bending only 1 bc it changes so much just to make them a ship what makes you choose that over a fan character? Hello! This is actually a good question and I'll gladly answer-

The big appeal in genderbending a character is the fun of seeing an alt design, right? But the other part of it is seeing how the dynamics change with a different gender, and that's where the big appeal comes for me with selectively flipping characters and pairing them.

The main thing is taking how the dynamics would change while keeping key attributes of the character + whatever changes that'd come from the opposite sex, and that's where the fun comes from for me. If the characters already have a ton of chemistry as buddies originally that honestly makes things even easier, then it's just changing the context and exploring the possibilities of how that dynamic would shift with that in mind.

It's no different than making up an AU that changes a character to explore a different aspect of them, really. Tweaking certain things and taking the relationship and situation into account. The change can be minimal or big, you could easily say nothing would change at all, depends on what you're wanting.

Now yes, you could just make a fan character, but making up a completely new oc as opposed to reimagining the relationship of two existing characters isn't really the same imo.

Lastly- I don't see many not flipping the whole cast and only a few of them that often, so it's fun to experiment with that. Thank you for asking!

Are you planning to make more art for the Rabbid Society AU? I really like it. It's interesting how Rayman is living amongst the Rabbids who were his enemies back then in the old days, but now he's friends with some and living amongst them until he finds a way back home.

I've actually done a bit more on it over on my rayman blog! That's where I've been channeling most of those doodles.

Honestly I wouldn’t pay those anons any mind. Quite a few of them will send in stuff like that to pick apart your answers and just use it to create drama when there doesn’t need to be any.

This is a sentiment I’ve been seeing a very strange amount of on a certain other platform but I might as well address it here--

My reasoning is honestly incredibly simple: I saw how the spies fell for ladies in the comics, plus the grey spy's thing being using her allure to fool them both. Thought it was cute and that it could be fun to have that dynamic with the two spies themselves by r63ing one of them on top of making it more genuine.

Plus just being real, I like the dynamic a guy and a lady bring for a ship. Does my faith play a part in preferring this? Yes it does, but I also just like the different cute things you can do when you pair the opposite sex, it hits different.

Now I'm no stranger to the fanart, I was well aware of the popular ship for these two well before revisiting this after over a decade. I just decided to tackle it in a way I'd actually enjoy it + using evidence of things I've seen in the source material itself.
