How I think Ruin and (Nice) Nexus would react to learning that Lunar and Gemini are now dating (via the Observatory drone). Nexus: "My brother finally has a partner! Let's go!"

So initially, I wasn't going to post any of the character redesigns until they were all done, but um...

Hey, look! A W.I.P.!

A couple of days ago, I was talking with my sister, and we were going over the reference images I made for TSAMS/TLAES. She could immediately see where I liked and didn't like certain things on the refs. So she recommended that I try making solo refs for all of them, which, honestly, it's already helping!

I've finished Sunrise and Moondrop (and combined them because why not :D) and I like this much better (especially with the little height chart in the bottom left)!

This is certainly gonna take me some time (mainly the line art takes the most time), but I like how this is coming along thus far!

So... those recent episodes with Nexus are certainly a thing, huh...

While I know in canon (for obvious reasons) he's just being... well... HIM now, but I like to imagine in my AU that he's doing what he's doing to stay under Dark Sun's radar.

I think when he returned to the pocket dimension -after visiting Solar- he had to shut himself down for a bit because Solar (after LEARNING of what he did, and with Nexus even confirming it!) STILL tried to help him- even an offer to come back! To say he broke down would be an understatement. Nexus EXPECTED Solar to be upset with him -even enraged- but he still tried to help!

When he visited Moon, some of the things he did were kindaaa passive-aggressive, but he wasn't going to really do any major damage (the lung thing did a lot more than intended)! But his offer to help with the Creator was genuine; he just threw in the wither shards bit to stay "in character". His messing with Moon's code was more of an accident than anything; he's still trying to figure out the dark star's power. ^^"

I might draw out some scenes, but I'm not sure. But I kinda want to do a height chart for my own visual aid, along with some other things.

I've made my Gemini ref!

Nothing too different from the show; honestly, I just wanted to get all their colors in one place :)

They have soooo many gradients on them! Not to mention all the yellow lol; I like their poofy hair, though!

Edit/update: I found the official ref by @/ayyy-imma-ninja, so I got a better idea of their colors! Also decided that their heads are just floating, cause I thought that's a fun idea and that sometimes Pollux and Castor would "switch heads" to see if anyone would notice (thus far, only Earth has noticed)

Also, the characters are NOT of accurate heights; this is just my general idea of their sizes.

Hey so I'm angry at YouTube now over what I learned they did yesterday, from what I learned apparently the reasons the Lunar and Earth Show got deleted. So one of the reasons YouTube deleted the channel was cuz they accused the voice actors of partaking in scams relating to Lunar Plush bootleg merchandise of one of their characters being sold on TEMU. But Davis made it clear on his Twitch Stream that him and his colleagues were not taking part in that and they were accused of this. And the second reason which Davis pointed out was because of one of their characters called "Dazzle the Deer" and over the fact that they revealed their backstory about what happened to Dazzle when she was alive and called "Evelyn" which which involves Sun getting possessed by BloodMoon and murdering her, and YouTube deemed it to violent resulting in what is happening now. Davis also said they had three requests sent to YouTube already to try and get the show back up and running but they were all denied, he made it aware to us that he only had one request left and if it gets denied then the Lunar and Earth Show will be gone for good. So he asked us his viewers to get the word out to try and make everyone aware of the situation any way possible on all platforms we have. And since Davis doesn't have an account here on Tumblr and there's a lot of people I saw here who are fans of the show i wanted to help by starting here so I wanted to make awareness of this to try and get people to make noise and get YouTube to reinstall the Lunar and Earth Show so it's not gone forever.

Yes, if you're aware of the Security Breach Show, the Lunar and Earth show was wrongfully taken down. YouTube claims the channel was scamming others, which is SPECULATED to be related to the Lunar plushies that were sold on Temu. There's also the theory that it's related to Dazzle/Evelyn. However, YouTube is neither confirming nor denying the accusations, so the fans have been requested to (respectfully) make some noise about the false accusations.

Fun Fact :)

I updated my redesigns of the TSAMS/LAES cast, mainly adding a color palette for all of them. However, I did make a few changes to their design, which can mainly be seen on Eclipse (and Nexus if you know what to look for). I did this because when I draw them, they won't look like the original redesigns.

Anyways, hope the Lunar and Earth show returns soon, I miss them ;v;

Nexus' 7 Drones

With his sense back, Nexus first decided to make drones so that he could spy check in on his family, so he made each of them their own personal drone!

I will add little profiles of each drone under the cut and go into more detail on some of them!

Drone #1 - Name: Good_egg Follows: Sunrise

Notes: Nexus was originally going to make several versions of the egg drone but decided to only redo one (i.e. I only wanted to recreate one :)), thus creating Good_Egg. Because it can't blend in as easily, he managed to make it, so this drone, in particular, has invisibility! Good_Egg is the one to go around to the more stationary drone, get their data, and report everything back to Nexus itself. Due to the little device on it's head, it can create portals wherever it wants (like Molten).

Drone #2 - Name: Snack_Time Follows: Moondrop

Notes: Though it is not in the image, this jar is constantly full of snacks/goodies. Moon currently seems to think that this was a gag gift from either Sun or Monty (though he's leaning towards Monty). Snack_Time can move around, but normally, it's to ensure it doesn't fall off an edge.

Drone #3 - Name: Observatory Follows: Lunar

Notes: Mimics the mini star observatories you can find in stores that double as a nightlight. The little "eye" in the middle will show the moon's current phase when in idle stage. Much like Snack_Time, Observatory can also move around, but it only does so to ensure it doesn't fall over.

Drone #4 - Name: Plant_Pot Follows: Earth

Notes: Easily one of the most hidden drones, but obviously, that's the idea. Much like Snack_Time and Observatory, Plant_pot can move, but it struggles a bit due to its size. If it does move- it'll need to be an emergency. Earth seems to enjoy growing various things in the pot, changing out the plant every now and then with something else.

Drone #5 - Name: Better_Times Follows: Solar

Notes: Better_Times is a well-hidden tablet with a stand; due to this, it is the only drone that can't move on its own. However, it can act as a communication device- should something bad happen. Nexus had a few breakdowns while making Solar's drone, it went through several rough drafts. Ruin ended up having to finish it, per Nexus' request.

Drone #6 - Name: Playmate_[V.J] Follows: Dazzle

Notes: A handmade doll that Nexus took his time to create (taking advantage of the inconsistent time flow of the pocket dimension). It was sent alongside Playmate_[V.D] so it wouldn't be too suspicious. Both had a note that said, "A secret gift from me, don't mention it. -Moon". Both drones have magnets in their hands, so they can hold onto each other or even the individual they're following. When he saw their reactions, Nexus was very proud of himself- they loved their new dolls! He's even outfitted them with (most likely) nanomachines so they can get up and move around when given certain directions.

Side Note: When I tell y'all I STRUGGLED with Moon and Solar's drones but I love how Dazzle and Jack's drones came out! Also, yes, that is the Gemini constellation on Observatory. Obviously, I had to put them there! I think the main way that the drones would be discovered is by either Jack or Dazzle accidentally tearing one of their dolls. So they go to Moon like "can you fix this, please?" and he's just sitting there like "????? I didn't make those." Thus, everyone starts realizing that they should prooooobably check their mystery gifts! That or they manage to find Good_Egg getting data from all the other drones before reporting to Nexus. =)

I had a vision and I just HAD to draw it! The newest SAMS Episode is an amazing gem! I love it! Sun being terrified/intimidated by himself and then Moon running from a possibly enraged Sun, were just too good to pass up!

Lunar: Yeah, we figured it would be nice to do since we have some new faces in the family *Gestures to Dazzle and Jack* And it's such a nice day, so why not! Monty said they'd even set up a camera so you don't have to hold it like last time!

Earth: Ah, okay! That sounds wonderful!

Monty: Okay, guys, get ready! *Everyone gets into position, with Earth a little confused by the gap but shrugs it off.* Alright, count down is starting... NOW! *They run over to the group to join the pile*

Jack: FATHER HURRY!

Solar: *Who was hiding nearby, comes running over and squeezes in.* I'm here, I'm here!

Earth: Wait- What! SOLAR! *Starts crying* You're back!

I need Earth and Solar's reunion like YESTERDAY! If Lunar DOESN'T know that Solar is back then I have several questions.
