Putting Gemini in situations <3<3<3<3<3<3

So this is kinda inspired by @sinclairmaxwellao3 's fic A Trembling of Fear on ao3 cause mannn the fuckin world building is great and we haven't really seen what exactly what the change could do to a character [besides whatever happening with Sun] and combining that with the fact we don't actually know what happens to an astral if they leave their home dimension [closest thiwe have is the star shutting down in other dimensions] and I just like putting Gemini in situations.

I imagine that the star power they're made of would probably protect their mind from the change but their body-

In this design specifically their fused on one side of their torso, separate at their necks, and fused again at the top of their head :}

I can't imagine it's very pleasant and their voices probably suffer for it.

In specifically atof lore I'm not entirely sure how'd they'd actually get there [be it random dimensional hole or a portal malfunction] but it would probably be a time before anyone noticed, Gemini is a scout so them being absent wouldn't be odd for the astrals and even if it was, they'd have the whole universe to search, nobody on earth would miss them because they wouldn't know they should, and neither the horror boys or Kill code would recognize them. I'd imagine what would actually come up would be Sun, Gemini probably able to recognize him though any move they make would be considered hostile by Killcode so they'd have to manage to indicate who they are or you could have a telephone sort of game and have sun ask moon to investigate, have moon ask solar to help, and have solar bring orion to help at which point orion could probably recognize Gemini, at which point they could bring Lunar over who would doubtless recognize them.

Whether or not returning to their home dimension would fix this- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

lumini headcanons because I’m going insane

Castor is just as hyper and giddy and excited as his sister, he’s just way better at hiding it.

Castor would read Lunar bedtime stories and Lunar thinks his voice is calming. Maybe Castor would even sing to him sometimes

If you could somehow get Castor to laugh, he would probably giggle. Nobody knows that though, cause he’s so damn stoic.

Castor enjoys coloring.

Gemini would probably be very gentle with Lunar when they first get together. They’d talk to him gently and be as soft with him as possible.

Gemini is probably very touch starved but they don’t want Lunar to know so they try to get affection from him sneakily, like giving him hugs every time he learns something new about his powers because they don’t know how to ask for one. Lunar would probably catch on and be as affectionate as possible towards them.

Gemini would probably like having their hair played with.

Gemini and Lunar are both autistic.

Lunar may be a little codependent on Gemini.

Gemini can change sizes, and if they want they can be as big as the stars themselves. Lunar very much enjoys this.

Pollux snorts if she laughs too hard.

Pollux and Lunar would probably like dancing together.

Pollux would color with her brother

Pollux is extremely smart, if she were human she’d be a gifted kid in school. She’s good with law, history, and I’m taking a shot in the dark here but I bet she’d be an amazing chef/baker.

Pollux would ask Earth for advice on what Lunar likes and how she can be a good girlfriend. Pollux doesn’t even really need Earth’s advice because Lunar is so smitten with her he’d love her no matter what.

Pollux is probably nervous since Lunar is her first boyfriend but Castor would always comfort her, and she’d comfort him when he’d get nervous.

I like to think that between Pollux's friendship with earth and generally spending time on the planet earth she has gained a slight curiosity with makeup.

Specifically that she finds makeup weird but interesting due to human's beauty standards seeming weird compared to the standards on other planets (like how humans are one of maybe a handful of species with lips, we just evolved to have bright red mouths for almost no reason) and therefore views makeup as a way to almost cosplay weird human beauty standards

All of this to say she regularly tries to convince others to play make up time with her, to either their enjoyment (Earth adored it), their mild skepticism (Lunar agreed but regretted it since they rapidly discovered that without lips they just got a big circle drawn on their face in bright red), their incredible skeptism (Castor was forced into it twice, once by her directly and once by her waking him up from their shared headspace in Gemini to them in a severely girly outfit completely done up), or their very rapid retreat (Nebula refused and teleported away because she wanted her first makeover to be done by earth, Taurus said no and vanished for unstated reasons.)
