Harvestor

Harvesters are blood fae that work the land. While flyers are often overhead providing protection from various unwelcome creatures. Harvesters also have the unique ability to control the blood lust. Also known as The Lust. During harvest time all blood fae creatures become rabid and blood obsessed. It is the only time to be truly afraid of the natives of this land. Organs spring from the ground and bushes and other plants leaving blood misting in the air. All fae become devoid of reason as blood lust consumes them. All with the exception of harvesters who can control this urge due to their extended proximity to the fields.

Flyer

Fliers help guard the red realm from creatures like ghouls and vampires who travel here to gorge on the land. You cannot choose to be a flyer. When the blood fae are young the land will swallow her up and spin a cocoon around her. The wings are implanted while she is cocooned and she is realeased once more. This process is extremely painful and many flyers lose their emotions due to this process.

The Priestess

Welcome to the Red Realm

It is a small plane where many quaint creatures call home. The valleys and forests consist of the softest grass your feet ever did greet. It grows wild in shades and tints of purple. Otherwise the actual ground is mushy and alive to the touch. There is only one entrance and exit to this realm and that is the Blood rainbow guarded intensely by the The Priestess Blood Fae

Not going to say much about this portrait. I think it's important for all artists to do one of these every once in a while. If for nothing else to at least track your progress and skill growth. I guess I'll try and find some older ones to give you guys an idea of my evolution. Added a bit of blood because well I like blood and most of my newer pieces are gorey gorey. The Thing Without A Soul

Now that the art show is up and public I'm happy to present one of my more spooky creations. It was made with a little haste. I drew it specifically for the show which I learned about a month in advance. I also had to balance commission work as well. This piece is a nice bridge between my portrait practice and the work I'm a little more interested in pursuing. Got to experiment a little and have a little fun. It also made me realize how uncomfortable I am messing with others faces which I why I'm the model for this. This piece also serves as a jumping off point for other work that I'm starting. Basically this is the beginning of something fantastic! The working title is "The Thing With No Soul". Sort of an ode to all those 50s horror movie posters. Enjoy. ⬇️⬇️
