Seahorse trader
Many merfolk are distrustful of land-dwellers, but this one frequently acts as a translator-diplomat and will happily do business with you!

Tripod Mermaid
She's a scholar studying the fauna of deep sea vents and such!
Not at all how I wanted it but I've just started with this style. And character-wise I think she came out cute :D
Also she's a mermaid form my ttrpg project that's focused on exploring!

Tagging @horsefigureoftheday because she brought it to my attention, I hope you don't mind and perhaps enjoy this guy a little <3

Sunbathing
I was trying to lean away from posting ARPG art here but I really like how this one came out!
Featuring Arapaima the vayron, taking a little nap in the sun.

Sixgill hagfish Eptatretus hexatrema
The pose was based on this post. Hagfishes are the only vertebrates that can literally tie themselves into knots! They do this to wipe off excess slime. Because they produce. Unholy amounts of slime.
This guy was really fun to do, I feel I got back to what originally motivated me to do these paintings: just a bit of playing around with different colour hues and shades on nice amimals.
Also they look so soft. I want to hold one. It would probably just feel slimy and also immediately slip itself out of my hands, but loook at her.
Art zoo!
You can look them up or go by vibes :D If you suggest something else and it doesn’t win, I’ll add it to my list for the future!

At long last!
Red-eyed tree frog Agalychnis callidryas
One of the frogs of all time, in the process of folding himself into a nice green leaf.
I struggled with this one a little but I'll call it done.
Check out my little art zoo and tell me...
