Here’s some recent artwork I made of a fun collab I’m doing with my friend @sylvvster of a concept for a kids show with a vintage aesthetic. I did post them earlier, but I figured the art style I drew them in was too much like the muppets and I figured I’d change it up a bit to give it some more originality.

Fun fact about this film, I only got to write the script for the beginning of it fa Now let me explain why:

At the time of filming, the production of this assignment was painfully close to the due date. Not that I was procrastinating on it or anything, but I had to re-film my project twice before I finally decided on making a puppet film. I was trying to pull through with a script on the day of filming, cause I know I wasn't gonna have any more time left to work on it. But I only had a bit written out and If I'm honestly speaking, I'm not a fast writer fo

But in the midst of my struggles, the classmate I was working with to play my puppet, who l've named Stanley, said that she could just read off what I had originally written and then improv the rest. Now as fun as I know improv can be, I wouldn't normally go down that route only because I think a script just keeps things more organized. And with improv, you're never too sure what you're gonna get, know? At the time, I had my own idea of what I wanted Stanley to say. The issue was I just had no time to jot it all down. With that being said, knowing the talents this classmate with having seen their previous performances, I was honestly really curious and excited to see what they would come up with.

So l let them go at it and honestly? I love the outcome

The subtle references to the muppets and sesame street, the bit of jealousy Stanley has towards the puppets there, and his beef with Jim Henson was a funny touch. It honestly gave him a bit more character than I had originally planned.

And now that I think of it, it gives me more to build off of for his character and all! Like what if he's jealous now, but he learns that all puppets are special in their own way? What if he learns to appreciate himself more, sock and all? What if he actually gets to say "Jim Henson" without risking getting lectured by my 4D instructor about copyright laws? I'm just kidding on that last part lol

No but honestly, it came out so fun and I hope whoever sees it enjoys it too!

I know it’s been a while, But got big news.

I made a puppet film! And I’ll be posting it here later today once I’m done editing it 👀

This here’s a little sneak peak of the Star of the show until I finish the final project. Will also be making some art and showing some full pics of the new puppet I made here and on my insta, so stay tuned for that if you’re interested! Super excited to share this cause it’s the first time I got to work with a voice actor/ someone to play one of my own characters and I can’t wait to show you guys ❤️

Finally have the time to post this oh my goodness ☠️

But anyways, I’ve been thinking that the whole LS brand has been lacking in story books lately, so I’ve decided to change that up a bit in a collab with the amazingly talented @jstertv (Calypso belongs to them!) and our concept for a kids story book series! It’s been so fun doing this with them and I just know these two will be so much fun doodling later on ♥️

But that’s not the only collab I’ll be posting… 👀 For all the comic book lovers and Sci-fi fanatics, stay tuned for an action packed story coming here soon…

Just wanted to quickly apologize for the lack of activity here 😭 it’s been so hectic these past few weeks, especially with all the college work I’ve had to do ☠️ But I’m hoping this week, with a more organized schedule, that I can get back into the groove of things.
