I had to really think about this one because I'll go through a phase of liking a piece and then hating it within days or weeks later lol. I think recently it's still the timeline-lineup of the boys like 2 months back. But when it comes to much older, it has to be this one.

I think it's from 2017, if I recall correctly. Despite being that long, I'm still really happy and proud of how it came out :')

Hi! Your new art is intriguing 👀 It also made me think of a question I had on my first watch of GF when Ford came back through the portal...

How did he come back through if he was randomly traveling through dimensions that whole time? Did the portal open where it dumped him 30 years ago or was it somehow connected to his DNA/other science-y words lol? Is it explained further in outside semi-canon media? Is there a fanon explanation?

I'm extremely new to the GF fandom (just watched it with my kids last year lol) so I didn't experience it live with most of you guys so I have no idea if this has been answered somewhere/common knowledge, so my apologies if this is a dumb question xD

It’s not dumb at all!

I think it was somewhat explained in the real life edition of the journal. So basically when Ford first went through the portal, he ended up in the nightmare realm where Bill was and all his little henchmaniacs. Ford managed to escape from the nightmare realm thanks to refugees like him and so during his time in the portal, he went from dimension to dimension to find answers on how to defeat Bill. He had to build a machine known as the quantum destabilizer that you can see him use in the 1st part of weirdmageddon, but ultimately didn’t work. Once he finally fully built it, he went back to the nightmare realm to wipeout Bill (or die trying). Which ties into the episode of Not What He Seems when the portal was opening. Ford saw the portal open and went right for it which ties to him coming out of it at the end of the episode.

There’s also a point in the show when Stan gets the portal up and running again you can see all the data and symbols going so I’m going to assume it’s tied to Ford’s whereabouts in some way.

Hopefully I explained it well enough! I’m usually bad at it :’)

I had this idea that’s been stewing in my head for a long while now that I’ve slowly been trying to draw out. I can’t really explain it, I was thinking about future events after the summer when the show ended and what could be a continuation of sorts. Just wanted to show a small preview of a small comic I had in mind that will maybe be done one day…!

wow wow wow wow i just scrolled through like 6 years of stuff and the headcanon that popped into my head is: stan's always cold. even in summer, because his scar is usually purple, and (from my experience) scars usually only do that when they're cold. obviously it could always be something else (maybe if it got infected or something), but this was just a thought that i wanted to share right now

Oh that's super interesting. I think I read something about that a while ago. That would be a reason it looks the way it does. Chances are, Stan didn't really bother taking care of that burn as a reminder of sorts (it's a miracle it didn't fester into something worse).

But I also like they dynamic of one of them being warmer than the other or colder than the other as some sort of balance for each other.

How badly did they hurt Stanley :3c ik the face ones weren't that bad but wondering how much time they had to rough him up

They could have done a lot worse had Ford not shown up when he did. Stan got some pretty bad cuts, particularly on his arms and few hits on the face. But like I said, had Ford not shown up when he did, something would probably have been broken.

Been having major Stan twins feels and needed to draw out an idea I got out. I just feel like deep regrets and feelings will come out of nowhere for both and get overwhelming, sometimes they need each other’s company
