I keep thinking about the art you drew of paranoid Ford looking at the photo of him and Stan as kids…I really wanted to write a fic about that photo throughout Ford’s life, but until I actually get the time/energy, I thought I’d share an old fic I wrote! It’s actually one that I find myself rereading a lot, I just…have a lot of emotions over a man and his photograph 😭

I absolutely love your GF art! I don’t often scroll through your blog, but when I do, or I see it on my page, it makes me smile! One of my first special interests was Gravity Falls, and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Something I want to say about Mabel and being on the ace spectrum is that I can totally see her “acting out” being interested in boys, because she thinks that’s what she’s supposed to do. It’s been a long time since I’ve watched the series, so this may not make sense, but it makes sense to me.

I mean, she didn’t care about which boy, when, or in what context she met them. She does very stereotypical romantic things, and I can just so clearly see her trying to copy what she’s seen on shows and movies.

I completely agree. I think she really likes the idea of being in love and romantic things because TV overly exaggerates it, that in her mind, it has to be something magical and be exactly what the movies/shows portray. In reality, as she’s learned over the Summer it isn’t like that. Which makes the end credits scene from the finale of her accepting to love herself so much more heartfelt.

It’s on my many list of drawing ideas, but I want to eventually get to making a comic having Mabel question what it means to have romantic feelings and finding out she’s Cupioromantic.

I really hate to ask for things, but I had a very not ok interaction at work and if anyone is willing to share some fluffy, happy scenarios/headcanons I'd really appreciate it. I'm ok, I'm just really shooken up by it.
