being a self-taught artist with no formal training is having done art seriously since you were a young teenager and only finding out that you’re supposed to do warm up sketches every time you’re about to work on serious art when you’re fuckin twenty-five

I don’t often do studies, but o should really start doing them more often. But here’s when I actually decided to commit to trying to study hands, movement, and colour.

So, this is my Sally Face fan art I did a whole back and actually posted on a Sally Face blog that I have. But it was such a cool game and an even cooler concept that I just had to do some art.

You may recognize this from the banner I have for my blog but I spent four whole days painting it as a mural onto one of my walls. Super proud of the result and it keeps me going everyday.
