Quick preview of my next piece!
Tumblr media
Was asked by a local church to make to a piece for an upcoming event involving several vow renewals. I figure the Wedding at Cana, where Jesus famously turns water into wine, would be a good idea.

"That Which Was Lost"
Acrylic and Gilding on Canvas
16"x20"
The Parable of the Lost Sheep, found in Matthew 18:12-14 and Luke 15:3-7, tells the story of a shepherd who leaves 99 sheep to find one that is lost. The parable illustrates God's joy over the repentance of a single sinner, emphasizing that He values every individual and seeks their return.

I was raised Pentacostal, and that's what my family still is to this day. But I don't regularly attend any church services at the moment. Lately, my home has been my place of worship.
If y'all are Christians than what type of Christians are u?
For me my type of Christian's is Catholic bc of my mom and my mom family so that why I'm proud to say I'm Christians.

A timelapse of my latest painting, "Isaiah 6:1"
Tumblr media
There were a few moments when I was unsure of the paintings' direction, but I think it turned out well overall.

Isaiah 6:1
Acrylic on Canvas
16"x20"
"I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple."
In the ancient Near-East, there was a custom that when a king conquored another Kingdom, he would cut off the bottom porcportion of the defeated king's robes and have it attached to his own robe as a way of saying "I am king over you." The longer the train of the robe, the more powerful the king. For the Lord's train to fill the temple means that He is King of Kings.
This piece is my interpretation of this passage and its significance. I can only hope I've captured just a fraction of its authors' envisioned glory.

Sketch for a painting I've been working on that's based on Isaiah 6:1 which reads "I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple."

“Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. He had seven horns and seven eyes; these are the [seven] spirits of God sent out into the whole world.”

Happy Mothers Day to those with children of their wombs and children that they've played motherly roles to. Your value is beyond any precious stones, and you are endlessly appreciated.

Considering what to do for my next Biblical painting. The Lord has given me two inspirations. Either Isaiah 6:1-4 or Ezekial 37:1-14. Whichever one I don't do now I'll do later.

"The Covenant Begins"
16"x20" - Acrylic on Canvas
Piece I've been working on for a bit. It's based on a scene described in the book of Genesis chapter 15 where God appears to Abraham to establish his covenant with him and his descendants.
*************
"And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces."
- Genesis 15:17
