I love Sanders Sides human AU's as much as the next guy, but I always get a little giggle thinking about how they were named. Cause like, it's implied the sides chose their own names, but infants can't do that. Like I'm not surprised anybody named their kid "Logan" or "Virgil". But a child named Janus would be bullied so hard, and the only time I've ever heard the name Patton was some military guy, which is almost ironic. And what fucking parent was like "Yeah I'm gonna name my twin sons after those ones that sucked wolf tits and then killed each other. I'm sure that'll be fun high school Greek mythology museum trip to attend." It just makes me giggle.

To your bug-sides au,

do their rooms look like how the insects would build their homes in nature?

Like Logan having an elaborate scheme of rooms and subsections and furniture blocking straight ways with knickknacks everywhere so you feel like your walking through a winding tunnel

Or Patton having it more open but loads of shelfs like you would see in a beehive with all the little hexagons. And the hexagon pattern being used everywhere in decoration like wallpaper or a rug and such

I don't know more examples of the top of my head

But I just wanted to know if the rooms are still just Thomas's house or if they are personalised in that way?

This is one of those questions I really wanted to draw but I suck at environment design 😭 sorry for taking so long lol

Rather than having their own rooms, I thought it would be cute that their "rooms" where different zones of the living room. For example: Remus and Virgil have their own nook behind and under the couch, Logan and Roman would be over the desk, and Janus and Patton would be in the kitchen. And they use little trinkets for furniture because of course. That's so silly.

I can only offer some poorly executed concepts lol, Im still thinking about Janus and Patton's space and YES im making this about moceit. shut up.

I really like the concept of the rooms tho! That could be in the Mindscape/the Imagination where they have their own space

no cause Logan doing the “let’s go lesbians!” thing with a person responding “yeah dude.” Is such a Virgil response.. like Roman or Patton would not respond w “Yeah dude” plus the tone and like sound of it is very Virgil

noticed something.. maybe this is a stretch but like after Virgil calmed down and speaks.. you can hear the faint little “y-.. you’re afraid..” the gentleness of his voice in comparison to when his tempest tongue was in use, maybe the little “y-..” was kinda maybe like a test to see if it was still on.. calm enough to speak. (Though honestly probably not)

Idk, also small note, I love how his voice was so intense when using the tempest, but like now is so quiet and comforting in a way. (Idk I just like this ep a lot, this is also random thought so, shrug)

A detail I like in the most recent vid, is that Roman and Patton knew that Logan singing the periodic table has happened before and Virgil didn’t. I really like that detail that V didn’t know.
