“Hah!-…Unfortunately, my age still feels like it’s defining how far I push! Though, I’d rather not try my luck with the master’s-…The master’s, y’know!-…Damn, which one was that again?-…Wasn’t that one master’s shipwright?”, Stitcher Jim replied, stopping themselves midway through the reckless swing of his ashen arm to briefly recall the position of the mentioned ashen lord. Although tempting, the thought of sparring against another ashen lord knowing that he’s barely holding himself steady against the servant causes the skeleton’s body to slightly shiver. Truthfully, he’d rather gamble his chances of victory against the servant of the flame than another ashen lord partly due to the cowardice he’d kept from when he’d been alive and from knowing that he’s less experienced than one of the original ashen lords.
“I’d say that I’m still as sharp as I used to be, through one could argue that I’ve never been the sharpest tool when it comes to this. I’m better at planning things and executing plans, honestly!”, Stitcher Jim admitted, forgetting that it wasn’t exactly surprising that he’d never been the best at fighting for himself or for somebody else. Partly, he’d forgotten that he’d been brought into the captain’s armada after being found barely alive and marooned by her and although he’d been given a lot to learn, he’d barely gotten any better before becoming an ashen lord but he’d always tried like hell to prove himself useful to those who’d take him.
Believing that he’d cornered his master’s son, the ashen lord laughed triumphantly as the servant turned towards the surrounding walls before watching his master’s son effortlessly catapult themselves over his lunging body. Awestruck at the servant’s seemingly effortless escape, the ashen lord didn’t even notice the pistol within the servant’s hands before it’s unloaded. Staggering, the lord’s skull would’ve twisted into a pained grimace if it had been able to whilst his master’s son landed behind him. Dropping onto one of his skeletal knees as he quietly curses himself for not waiting, the crystals across the lord’s skeleton alongside the lord’s crystallized heart began flickering rabidly whilst the feeling of the dreaded cold that he’d prayed he’d never have to feel again slowly creeped into his body.
“Fluidity?-…Aye, aye-…I can do my best to stay fluid and flexible!-…It ain’t that easy for me to move as quickly as I’d done when I was younger, y’know?”, Stitcher Jim stammered, forcing himself back onto his feet despite the worsening flickering within his crystallized heart. Forcing the dread and the cold creeping into his skeletal body down, the ashen lord’s ribcage rattled with another deep breath as he prepared to lunge at his master’s son once more.

“No, of course not my master!-…I cherish the purpose and the second chance you’ve given me!”, Stitcher Jim stammered, turning away from the ashen sovereign’s gaze as he desperately tried to think of a response that might’ve smoothed his previous words things over. “I meant that I thought I’d remain a person, master-…I thought I’d keep pieces of what used to be my life, I was only unsure if that was the case”, Stitcher Jim explained, nervously chuckling whilst the glistening glow of the crystallized heart within his ribcage and the crystals across his ashen arm faltered briefly.
Turning towards the ashen sovereign after he’d nervously looked away, the ashen lord stared down at the ashen sovereign for the first time after he’d died protecting the skeletal lord’s remains. “I’d never be ungrateful for the gift that you’ve given me, master”

What a pity. Another soul lost in the Sea trying to cling to something, anything to give them greater purpose. What a sad thing to have a desire to be a person, implying humanity and the confinement of flesh. Alas, any who pledge themselves to the war-raging skeleton lord lose their life -- their claim to having it. They become puppets, weapons to be used by him and only him. They belong to the King.
“ Is the purpose I so graciously gifted you something you are having second thoughts about? ” There is amusement to the low tone despite the harshness of the words being delivered. The stare of fiery sockets, daring for the words to be built upon -- to be explained. It could be easily taken back ; power given to those who crave his praise and attention. “ How ungrateful. ”

Breathing heavily enough to rattle the bones within his ribcage, the skeletal lord glances around the clouded sky of dust, ashes and soot while desperately searching for the servant’s silhouette amongst the distant silhouettes of the squawking parrots. Truthfully, the skeletal lord had forgotten how much he’d been able to bellow out of his ashen body which had placed him in a bit of a disadvantage as he’d began regaining himself. “Where’d you go, Servant?-…Your not afraid to fight amongst the ashes, are you?”, Stitcher Jim taunted, turning towards the clearing after he’d looked down or up at every other path that the servant could’ve gone.
Hesitantly, the skeletal lord crouches against the sandy shoreline and prepares himself to lunge forward. The thought of throwing himself forwards at the servant or staying hidden within the clouded sky to further regain himself is debated, the crystals across his ashen arm seemingly flicker brighter and brighter the longer he hesitates. The servant’s words echo within his skull and within seconds, the skeletal lord lunges towards the clearing with his ashen arm outstretched. “Found you!”, Stitcher Jim exclaimed, hiding his nervousness beneath his sneers and his jabs as he’d done when he’d first fought against the pirates who’d claimed his life when he’d been protecting his captain’s body.

Digging his heels into the sandy shoreline to keep himself from toppling over, the skeletal lord forces all of his strength into his ashen arm and swings at the servant.
Harshly coughing as the short burst of fire was swiftly forced out of his skeletal throat, he scowled viciously as the blaze from his brimstone eyes and the flaring of his crystals grew brighter. “I’m trying to!-…I’m a little rusty, Servant!”, Stitcher Jim remarked, bellowing out the remaining smoke within his maw. Trying to use the smoke to his advantage, the skeletal lord tried to plunge the surrounding area into a cloud of ashes and soot.

Trying to use the smoke to his advantage, the skeletal lord tried to plunge the surrounding area into a cloud of ashes and soot.
“Really?-…Could’ve sworn I remembered that he was more productive than that”, Stitcher Jim admitted, sounding genuinely surprised whilst the smoke from the burning blaze radiating off of the brimstone embedded into his hollowed eyesockets caused him to look a bit confused. Although, seeing the expression that the smoke had given him would be a bit difficult as he’d turned away after hurling the first chunk of brimstone to focus himself on creating a second one. He hadn’t mastered the technique of being able to summon the chunks at will like the other ashen lords yet but that didn’t stop him from trying his hardest to utilize them within battle, even if it meant looking away for a spilt second or two.
“Heh! Can’t say that I have, Servant! I learned pretty quickly that sometimes, it’s better to fight dirty and have a chance of winning than to fight fair and risk it all”, Stitcher Jim chuckled, turning towards the servant only to be taken by surprise as his master’s son dashed forward. Panicking, the ashen lord could’ve sworn that he’d felt his crystallized heart plummet out of his ribcage as he throws the brimstone directly between the two of them, attempting to keep some distance between the two of them. The crystals across his ashen arm begin flaring, heating his skeletal body up whilst the fiery embers and searing ashes filled his throat once more.

It wasn’t a secret that the pirate turned ashen lord preferred backing out of a fight, opting to offer himself as bait to trick someone unfortunate into blindly chasing him which would lead the unfortunate soul to one of his more powerful friends. Leaning forward, there’s a brief silence from the ashen lord whilst he takes the servant’s words into consideration. “A fight’s a fight, isn’t it?-…It pains me to think that you’ll be at a disadvantage but then again-…I’ve never fought fair before, have I?”, Stitcher Jim rambled, deliberately dragging his sentences until he’d mentioned that he’d never fought fair.
“Think fast, Servant!”, Stitcher Jim warned, hurling the chunk of brimstone within his hand directly at their head as a sense of pride at potentially stalling the servant surged through him. Truthfully, the ashen lord couldn’t tell whether his master’s son knew what he was planning or not but that wouldn’t stop him from telling the others surrounding the fortress that he had, they’d never know if it was a white lie and the thought excited him whilst he steadied himself for whatever would come of his sparring match with his master’s son.

I Thought You Had Died Stitcher, I’m Relieved To See That’s Not The Case.
Still Working For Captain Flameheart Or Are You Back To Your Old Tricks, My Beloved?
—W
Being as cautious and careful as an ashen lord holding a fragile bottle could be, the skeletal lord who’d recently been brought back from his purgatory within the sea of damned quickly glance over his shoulder and breathed a sigh of relief after confirming he’d been alone. Pulling the concealed parchment out of the bottle, the skeletal lord began reading the strangely familiar handwriting before freezing within his tracks as he’d read the last line of the letter.
“My Beloved?-…”, Stitcher Jim whispered, rereading the line over and over as the realization of why the handwriting had been so familiar almost hit him as hard as being marooned had. “Is that?-…No, no-…it is, it has to be her-…That’s Wanda”, Stitcher Jim stammered, his skull reeling as he clutched the letter within his hand as the crystals consuming his other arm began flaring. Stuffing the letter into one of his jacket’s pockets, the ashen lord would keep the letter hidden until he’d figured out what to write back to her.

At the mention of the obsidian skeletons belonging to the captain’s personal crew, the skeletal lord quietly cursed beneath his breath as the thoughts about conversing with the surrounding skeletons were forced down. Unsurprisingly, he’d rather risk being caught sending scribbled letters hastily stuffed inside of broken bottles out to the sea or conversing with the one ashen guardian he’d found wandering around the scorched fortress than be reported to the captain by the skeletons belonging to his crew if anything less favorable escaped from the skeletal lord’s mouth. “You’ll keep an eye out for me, Alright Soliel?”, Stitcher Jim asked, glancing over his shoulder to face the ashen guardian he’d found wandering around the empty fortress when he’d been brought back from his purgatory within the sea of the damned. The ashen skeleton who’d been eerily silent since they’d been discovered by the ashen lord didn’t respond, choosing to slowly step closer and closer until they’d stood beside the skeletal lord instead. “Soliel?”, Stitcher Jim questioned, turning towards the ashen guardian as they knelt against the sandy shoreline charred beneath the heat of the volcanic eruptions. Lifting their skeletal hand to silence the skeletal lord, the fiery skeleton pointed to the ocean’s waves where the sight of faded shimmering, a telltale sign of lingering sunken treasure. Gasping, the ashen lord rushed into ocean’s embrace as the fiery skeleton kept watch over the skeletons within the fortress’s keep. Sinking beneath the sea’s surface, the water boiled around the ashen lord who’d ran across the seabed until he’d clutched the sunken treasure within his hands. Although it’d only been a single gilded bottle with concealed piece of parchment inside, the sight of the gilded bottle alone had caused his crystallized heart to pulsate with anxious excitement and adrenaline similarly to when he’d successfully tricked the champion of souls into freeing the ashen sovereign. “He’s been getting the letters!-…Oh, seems other’s have been getting the letters too!”, Stitcher Jim laughed, scooping up each and every bottle he’d managed to fit within his arms.
He’d be busy for quite a while, sorting through and answering each and every bottle before returning them to the sea’s embrace where he trusted they’d find their way back to the islands, the outposts and the writers who’d sent them within the first place. Although he’d have to be a bit more reliant on the ashen guardian he’d befriended to cover his tracks, the ashen lord decided that would be a risk that he’d be willing to take, especially if it meant keeping in touch with those amongst the sea’s without the prying eyes of his master and his master’s following.

The smile that would’ve stretched across the man’s face if he’d still had his flesh, would’ve easily unnerved and unsettled anyone who’d knew his history as he listened to the servant’s words. Thankfully, the lack of being able to create an expression masked the skeletal lord’s excitement at the gift he’d been given by his master and at the relief of being left alone to his own devices, he’d harbored plenty of secrets that he’d rather keep to himself from watchful eyes like the one silently staring at him from the servant’s shoulder.
“I’d argue that I’d be fine by myself but I’ll never refuse a gift, wouldn’t mind having the company either. Though, I’ve never seen skeletons look like these ones”, Stitcher Jim stated, quickly avoiding the perched parrot’s gaze whilst his attention refocused onto the passing obsidian skeletons.
Briefly, the skeletal lord wondered if he’d be able to converse with them, if they’d silently listen to his words like She’d done or if they’d be like some of his old crewmates that he’d been able to stand, considering they were so different than the skeletons he’d come to know before his untimely demise.

Stumbling backwards, the ashen lord who’d turned from viciously snarling to harshly choking. He’d quickly forced the mixture of fiery embers and searing ashes that had become as unfamiliar to him as his skull, back down his skeletal throat as the chunk of brimstone that he’d nearly hurled at his master’s son was quickly discarded with a couple of nervous chuckles.
“Servant!-…I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon, wasn’t expecting to see any sort of tributes so soon either-…it’ll be safe with me, I promise! I won’t let you or my master down!”, Stitcher Jim replied, nervously glancing between the various parrots and obsidian skeletons before turning to the treasure carried by. “Are your pets and your-…Erm, shall I call them your skeletons or crewmates?-…Are they staying to watch or are they just delivering?”, Stitcher Jim asked, subconsciously tilting his head to the side as he’d done countless times when he’d looked for the slightest hint of insight but the servant’s mask and posture made it impossible for him.

Turning towards the sandy shoreline which had been charred beneath the heat of the volcanic eruptions, the ashen lord’s snarls echoed throughout the eerily quiet fortress whilst the chunk of brimstone he’d created shimmered brightly beneath the sunlight.
“If Someone’s There, It’ll Be A Good Idea To Come Out And Surrender!”, Stitcher Jim warned.
It’d be wise to listen, the ashen lord had always been quick to notice the flickering of swift movement alongside the shadows that looked slightly different as a pirate and he’d be no different now that he’d been reduced to skeletal remains, despite the fact that he’s still been getting used to the skull that replaced his own.

Ahoy, Welcome To The Blog!
I’m The Mun, Jack. I’m 20 years old and prefer He/Him/They/Them.
This Blog Will Be A Interactive/Roleplay Blog For Stitcher Jim From Sea Of Thieves!
Below You Can Find The Rules For This Blog Alongside The Information About My Muse, Stitcher Jim.
1. Please be at least seventeen years old before interacting with the blog. I am not opposed to roleplaying suggestive content, shipping and etc. I am also not opposed to roleplaying things such as death, abuse, kidnapping and anything else that may be related to those described above. All are examples of what has occurred within the sea of thieves. This is why I ask all who interact with this blog be at least seventeen and if these topics make you feel uncomfortable then please do not follow.
2. I am alright with interacting with any original characters, I am also alright with interacting with most fandoms but that doesn’t mean I am alright with interacting with all fandoms. Please, do not interact with this blog if you are a hazbin hotel, Helluva boss, Youtuber, Celebrity, Countryhuman, Militaryhuman blog. This list will be updated if I deem it necessary.
3. I am the most familiar with Sea of Thieves, Minecraft StoryMode, Poppy Playtime, Transformers, Luigi’s Mansion, Identity V and a few others.
4. Be Warned That I Am Not Always Going To Be Active And That My Post Will Not Always Be Trimmed Right Away.
Below will be the information about my muse, Stitcher Jim.
1. Stitcher Jim Is An Ashen Lord Who'd Been Brought Back Similarly To How Captain Flameheart Was Brought Back. Like Captain Flameheart, Stitcher Jim’s aware the skull atop his neck isn't the same skull that he'd been born with but that doesn't concern him as much as one would imagine. He's grateful for the second chance he’s been given and he shows that gratitude by taking his duties as an ashen lord very seriously. Stitcher Jim’s "devoted" himself to Captain Flameheart despite knowing that Captain Flameheart only brought him back because he'd decided that it'd be too wasteful, especially after all he'd done to ensure he’d became an ashen lord just to not have him become a permanent part of his armada.
2. Stitcher Jim's taken the position of being the herald of the flame once more which includes becoming the skeletal protector of Molten Sands Fortress. Unsurprisingly, his position of being the skeletal protector of Molten Sands Fortress keeps him from being summoned elsewhere during the Ashenwinds world events, unlike the other ashen lords.
3. When he’s not guarding Molten Sands Fortress, Stitcher Jim’s found within the reaper’s hideout or the reaper’s lair. Interestingly, Stitcher Jim’s also found with an ashen guardian named Captain Soliel.
4. Stitcher Jim, being one of the most experienced pirates since he's been sailing longer than the majority of the non-skeletons and non-merfolk, still keeps his cards close to his chest. He’ll still pledge his allegiance to whoever's more powerful and more willing to accept his loyalty, currently he's pledged himself to Captain Flameheart but that could change.
5. Stitcher Jim’s Still Communicating With GoldHoarder(Rathbone) Behind Captain Flameheart’s Back. Considering that GoldHoarder(Rathbone) was his original partner and they’d created the trading company known as The Gold Hoarders, Stitcher Jim is a bit sentimental about the relationship that he’d shared with GoldHoarder(Rathbone). Stitcher Jim doesn’t know if GoldHoarder(Rathbone) is still getting his letters but that hasn’t kept him from writing them and sending them to GoldHoarder(Rathbone) from Molten Sands Fortress. Stitcher Jim’s carefully covered his tracks to make sure that only GoldHoarder(Rathbone) knows that the letters are from him. Although he’s kept the letters from being tied back to him, the excuse of “journaling” when almost all the pages ripped out of the journal can only work so many times.
6. Post-Resurrection, Stitcher Jim has gold melted onto a couple of his bones similarly to how GoldHoarder had gold melted onto the majority of his bones. Stitcher Jim keeps his gilded bones hidden beneath his jacket but if someone were to take a closer look at the lower ribs beneath his crystallized heart, the shine of his gilded bones are almost impossible to miss.
7. Stitcher Jim treats the skeletons and the reaper’s within the hideout, lair or those who’ve become phantom’s the same way that he’d treat pirates when he’d been working with the bilge rats. Surprisingly, he’s the most social out of the ashen lords with Captain Grimm being a close second.
8. Stitcher Jim’s trying his best to befriend the other ashen lords, he’ll be around them for as long as Captain Flameheart’s stays unmatched and it’s better to have them as his allies than his enemies.
