So anyways I really miss writing dabi and everything I’ve built up for him. So I’m going to completely overhaul my blog soon.

i would also take this lovely time to say that even though dabi doesn’t necessarily need a jacket. he does wear one. 

the one we’ve seen him in since he joined the league -- the cuffs look to be somewhat similar to some adornments on endeavor’s hero costume. 

it’s actually designed to help with his quirk. he’s managed to build up a tolerance to his flames around his hands and wrists but anything above that he’s susceptible to burns. the cuffs help to manage the flames and keep generated in that area so he doesn’t so much lose control. because, if he lets his flames burn too much, he can easily lose control.

i already made a similar headcanon --- but since it’s winter, i would like to take the time to tell you that dabi prefers the cold. his body temperature is fucked and will fluctuate. but due to his body being built for an ice quirk, he’s not as susceptible to the cold, and will go out in the dead of winter with no jacket.
