You’re walking through the forest. All is quiet and peaceful…Suddenly, as you turn the corner, you see a small building, nestled within the trees.

It looks like a shop of some sorts…your curiosity piqued, you decide to come closer. As you do, something pops out of the old teapot on the counter!

“I wasn’t expecting any customers at this time of day! Welcome to my tea shop! What can I get you?” The Polteageist gestures to the menu next to her.

You realize you are feeling quite thirsty. Some bubble tea would really hit the spot right now!

Will you place your order?

"I have lots, lots of things! just tell me what you want and I'll see what's the closest thing I have to it is!"

Mukudori inspects the objects further, before pointing to the Oran berry. "I'd like this, please," he says with a smile, giving Hestau the coin.

(@ask-a-staravia) Hanako approaches the Gimmighoul, a bouquet of bugswort in hand. "Oooh!! What lovely sticks!!" The Drifloon exclaims. "May I buy them for these???" It holds out the boquet.

The gimmighoul is rather visibly displeased with the offer of a trade which involves no coins but holds their tongue from making any brash statements. They look between the offered plants and the Drifloon offering them as they formulate how to respond in their head.

"One item for one coin,"

It repeats its previous pitch carefully, putting a little more emphasis on the word coin. They don't speak further for a few seconds, intending to leave the conversation at that, but they waiver quickly and hesitantly continue.

"...But I haven't seen those before, so you must've brought them from real far away, or they're super rare, and i guess that means its a fair trade.. And you asked real, real nicely... so... just this once. I guess. Not next time though, no, no, coins only next time."

The Gimmighoul reluctantly takes the bouquet of bugworts and joins it with the rest of the chest's contents. They carefully count the number of bugworts given, then gather an equal number of sticks to hand back over.

“….admittedly, it’s been a while.” He says quietly. “And I only ever heard his name from GoSub and Cider a few times.”

He clears his throat and continues at a more normal volume. “Suppose there’s no way around admitting this….he raised me. Me and Mirian both. Well, I was a few years old when I was given to him. Mirian was….barely a month. She was separated from her mother early.” His eyes go dark at that, but then he shakes his head. “Sorry. That’s not really relevant.”

“He…played with us. Showed us both a lot of physical affection. Fed us good food. A good chunk of each day he’d come with GoSub and Cider and we’d all just….have a nice time. But the rest of the day it was just me and Mirian.”
