I think it’s pretty obvious, but I didn’t make it clear/definite or confirm it, but this blog will no longer be in use. It won’t be deleted, so if for some weird reason you want to sift through my cringey old art (though there’s plenty of that on the Alf blog too), go ahead! I initially made this account years ago simply because of an absence of an Abe account, and I’ve definitely had fun with it, Abe is a wonderful character (thank you OWI), but I feel my portrayal of Alf has been stronger (even if it’s not accurate), and this also isn’t surprising, but he’s my favourite (duh). I haven’t had motivation to much with the blogs lately, especially Abe, so this account is just up to look at. Questions will no longer be answered (but I appreciate them all and sorry I never got to answer them all), this account won’t be interacting with any others, it’s just there. If anyone sees this as an opportunity to create an Abe blog, don’t be silly. There was never a time where you couldn’t. I know some people worry about duplicates, but please, don’t be silly. He’s not my character. He belongs to OWI. Whether two, ten, hundreds or even thousands of people make blogs dedicated to him like this, it’s fine and that should go with out saying. I know it’s obvious, but I worry people thought this. Same goes with any canon character. Express your love and dedication no matter what! There isn’t enough Oddworld content out there and I love seeing it all. I’ve considered making a Oddworld character to make a blog for, but I’m still very much on the fence and it likely won’t happen, so I’m going to stick with Alf’s blog and start being more active on it.

The Glukkon they described did not sound familiar. “They aren’t usually violent, they get sligs to do that for ‘em. I think the Mudarchers will need to look around and see if he’s got anyone with him or if he’s alone, then we can find out what he wants.”

Abe looked quite confused and surprised. “Uhh… yeah… what’s wrong?” He could feel himself getting nervous with the panic of the situation.

He looked more afraid. “...A Glukkon...?” He then remembered there was a small number of friendly Glukkons living alongside the natives. Wait... what did he look like? Know his name or anything like that?” He wanted details before he would think of what to do.

Are there other mudokon tribes out there Abe? Do you wish to meet them if there are? (I’ve only played NnT and am tryin to go into Soulstorm blind when it releases so I know nothing about to the other games and lore, sorry if that’s a dumb question lol)

He listened and nodded, giving her a chance to explain because he knew Milka was very much a decent being and wouldn’t do anything horrible to anyone. “Okay... maybe there was just a misunderstanding. If that’s what you’re doing, then it sounds good. Sorry if I made you look or feel bad or anything... umm...” He looked down awkwardly. “D’ya want any help?”

Milka wanted to finish some paperwork at the rehab. A gust of wind blows one of the documents away and the sheet of paper lands in front of Abe's feet. It's a confirmation of payment for thousand Mudokons. Milka slowly looks up. As she realizes that it was Abe who found the bill she becomes nervous. "Good heavens! Sir Lure, ... It is not what you are thinking."

Abe picked up the piece of paper, and was being rather nosey as he read some of it. He blinked, stunned at what he was seeing. Milka’s defensive speech only raised his suspicions, and he narrowed his eyes as he looked at her. “You bought a load of Mudokons…? I can’t believe this. There’s only one reason someone pays to own people, and that’s slavery! Why are you doing this?!” He looked to be in disbelief and getting quite upset.

“But this isn’t business. They’re slaves. They’ve always been rescued and sent straight here, and it’s worked out fine. Rather than trying to show them “better business” and living in the city, they need to know what their lives can be, living completely freely in the sun, in nature. Maybe if after being here they wanna work for you, fine. But I’d be surprised if they wanted to.” He shook his head he crossed his arms, still looking serious.
