Oooh, so you want to understand my methods. Well, I can deny one thing, and that is that I didn't force them, and I don't think that's an option. But I do give them my hand so they can change. Killer is a good example. Since I visited the sanctuary, the first thing he came for was my soul. He was shocked when he saw that not even a real knife could take my life, yet it pierced my entire being. But, with the knife still there, I approached him and told him, "You can't kill someone with time set aside." So, we agreed to meet from time to time, and if the opportunity gives me, I'll try to guide him down a better path. Because even though they chose that path, I know that a monster wouldn't be capable of killing those of its other species... that sounds like a desperate measure in the face of a conflict that it couldn't solve on its own.

I can't force them to come, I can't take them by force, every monster and human doesn't know my location, nor do I know at what central point of emptiness I am. But I am and I will be there, with open arms for those who don't believe in second chances.

But hey, look at me. I thought I wouldn't get another chance, that I'd be doomed to the same fate, the same tragedy, all for making a new decision. And with open arms... HE welcomed me, gave me another chance, a new purpose and goal, a way to deal with all that pain I carry inside. I feel like it would be selfish not to share that liberating feeling, because that's what everyone wants, to be freed from a burden that they're convinced will lead them somewhere if they just keep going.

And no, you don't need to understand a Toriel, because not all of them are... the same or similar. Each one has something special about them, and possibly, out of all of them, I'm the one who firmly upholds that word, even with ruthless killers. There's no definition of "Better," so I can't find their "best" version. I can only find their best decisions.

Also, I'm sorry if I say too much and do too little. It's been a tough time, to be honest: planning my commission schedule, finishing commissions, treating my epilepsy and headaches. Man I had one of the worse flu of my life and dealing with a sprained wrist (ofc the one I use to draw) and during that time I hit a milestone here!! It took me so long to draw this but I just want to try to express my appreciation and gratitude I have that you all out there enjoy my silly lil characters. I'll give you this example: imagine you have so many ideas that you have a creative block, but you also imagine concepts for the future, conceptual ideas of the same or different characters that end up as doodles dancing around while you ask yourself, "Which is best to use for this occasion?"

This drawing from a while ago might give you an idea x), maybe. But getting to the main topic, it's going well, I'm answering two questions (and since you're the first to ask, you always have to prioritize) Also, since I'm experimenting with things, I try not to take long but I don't want the wait to be in vain. I really like the idea of ​​including past versions of some characters in the cast. I feel it would give them more life and explain how they reached that point in the game's canon as well as in the lore. It's an interesting concept that I hope to explore further. Of those appearing so far is little Undyne, with her voice of innocence and reason based on her maturity. This is because in combat, sometimes one loses things, and little Undyne was lost in the middle of the war, what she once was and could have been.

If there's something that fascinates me about Cagestale is that I can give myself that opportunity, that small but important luxury of delving into things that give birth to the creativity of other artists <3 at least I hope to give them that-
