Have any of you worked with... Some weird purple lookin guys? They have big mushroom caps and a vacant stare?

Captain: Those guys? Heard Lord Fawful freed them. So generous!

Captain: Most fled.. But! I saw one stick with '2'.

Atomic fireball, is it painful to be on fire all the time?

Aerial: Fireball! You got one too! Fireball: Huh? Really Aerial: I'll read it out..

Aerial: 'Is it painful to be on fire all the time'? Huh... Well, it's no flattery. But someone's concerned!

Fireball: No. But isn't that a little strange? Lord Fawful likely thought ahead. With.. my body.

Fire is about as hot as a thick jacket to Fireball. He doesn't mind.

How did the cake come out!

Captain: Me and Noxidoctor baked the inside, while Wrecking Ball and Guard did all the outer stuff. I think! that we did well!

Fireball: It was like eating a sweet, juicy sponge. I liked it

Fawful's Troupe (AFTER M&L:BIS)

Since Fawful's defeat, the troupe was forcefully split apart and each searched out for a new purpose with varying results.

Captain still works to fulfill conquering the Mushroom Kingdom for his missing lord, and (rather fruitlessly) attempts to recruit new members to the troupe.

Guard - now calling itself "Oddity" - hides in the shadows of the Mushroom Kingdom, trying to learn all that it can about the faults of previous villains and rulers (though also very interested in learning anything about anything at all).

Noxidoctor ditched their mask and fled to Pi'illo Island, where they were much less likely to be recognized as a minion of Fawful's (nor mistaken for Fawful himself). Though they mainly try to help people, they still like experimenting with dangerous chemistry as a hobby.

Aerial moved to the Beanbean Kingdom and slowly garnered their trust by doing small errands for the community. Eventually, they were entrusted with delivering mail across the kingdom, even being gifted a new outfit.

Wrecking Ball was forced to leave their Chain Chomp host and go elsewhere. They slipped onto a ship heading for Rogueport and became an artist (with a document-forging side hustle) to relative success (though not without its risks).

Fireball disabled their flamethrower belt (though still uses it as self-defense when necessary) and moved to Delfino Isle, where they'd pursue a career in technical effects (strobe lights, speakers, lasers, etc).

Noxidoctor: "remember the last time you said that? and you passed out mid audition and we had to dunk your head in soda to wake you up"

Out of the group, Captain has to get treated by Noxidoctor the most often. He prefers charging head-first-thoughts-later into battle and prioritizes defeating the enemy captain first. It's earned him a fair share of victories as well as scars.
