Random Marble Pie Ships

A scenario under the cut (more will be added for each ship):

A SugarMac engagement party in Our Town thrown by Pinkie Pie and Party Favor leads to Marble, Maud, and Limestone attending.

Marble is stood next to the punch in an effort to avoid socialising.

“Hey, don’t be jealous,” demands Limestone gruffly after noticing her shyer-than-usual sister scuffing her hood against the ground near the punch bowl. She blows a tuft of her mane from her face. “I know I’m jealous, but don’t be jealous.” She repeats after noting. She averts her gaze. Marble opens her mouth to speak.

“Who’s jealous?” deadpans Maud after trotting over with her signature dull rhythm.

“Who’s jealous?” deadpans Maud after trotting over with her signature dull rhythm.

“Who’s jealous?” deadpans Maud after trotting over with her signature dull rhythm.

“Who’s jealous?” deadpans Maud after trotting over with her signature dull rhythm.

“Who’s jealous?” deadpans Maud after trotting over with her signature dull rhythm.

“Marble.” Limestone didn’t miss a beat in answering.

“Don’t be jealous,” from her pocket, Maud pulls out Boulder and set him on the punch table next to her shoulder. “Boulder was jealous... once.”

The three wait, as if listening to the small, dented pebble. Suddenly, a sharp - but still monotone voice - takes hold of his owner. “Hey. Watch your language.”

Soon, the party is interrupted by Pinkie for Double Diamond, Night Glider, and Party Favor to give a speech about Sugar Belle and Big Mac.

While everyone is distracted, Marble sneaks away to be alone.

She finds the town’s lake and sits, staring at her reflection sadly for some time before letting a few tears fall. Heartbreak is something to despise.

Her head lifts abruptly to the sound of crunching sand under hooves. She gasps quietly to find a brunet stallion on the other side of the lake.

The stallion blushes in surprise at Marble, who is staring coyly in return. She blinks and rubs a hoof over her foreleg, averting her gaze.

“Sorry,” he called, one hood to his muzzle, “I d-didn’t realise anypony wa- was here.” His voice is soft and sweet. Marble knows he means well. He canters quickly around the small lake to her side. “Hey, if any mares ask if I’ve been here, don’t tell them.”

After noticing that she’s upset, Featherbangs (quite awkwardly) introduces himself. He asks what’s wrong, and soon gets Marble to use physical gestures to explain.

Once the celebration ends, Featherbangs quietly asks if Marble would like to visit some time.

“Mhmm.”

Top illustration is my headcanon for Spike as he gets older. He’s not a chad but not round like Sludge his father. He is super active with running errands with Twilight, being the dragon Ambassador, and he’s active in general. He still enjoys his junk food and all that. He’s a lean guy. Spike’s crush on Rarity wanes as he gets a bit older and after she marries Thunderlane. He’s happy for her. Also helps he developed far stronger feelings for his pen pal Gabby. It was great having a friend he could relate to. Someone who enjoys learning as much as he did. Is excited to try new things. Has a cute laugh. Is beautiful. Spike got it bad. Gabby on the other hand thought Spike was the coolest person ever. And he was so nice and friendlyt to boot! Someone who likes comics, Ogers & oubliettes, learning, listens to her ramble, going on adventures. Always willing to help anyone. Has an adorable grin. Super handsome. Gabby’s got it bad too. It was Gabby who made the first move by giving Spike a H&H day card. A handmade one that she poured out her heart to. Spike turned red as a tomato. He stammered out, “NO WAY!” cause he too had his own card. They’ve been together every since. They work together to bring back the Golden Oaks. Through some magic, princess help, and sneaking off with a small root, they were able to restore the Golden Oaks. It remains as a library that Spike and Gabby live in. The tree is bigger and better than before! Spike is still an ambassador for dragons & Gabby does deliveries but their main jobs are librarians. It was a gift to Twilight for all that she’s done for spike. and it felt like a real home to him. They dedicated a wing to her too & use her cutiemark on bookmarks and bags they give to kids. Also helps kids who are struggling, reading lessons, safe space, etc. Spike had lead a blindfolded Twilight to the library; took off the cloth. Arms out Spike says “tah dah!” Twilight is just stunned. She simply goes what. Spike, being sheepish, kicks a pebble and tells her why he did it, that if it wasn’t for her, he’d never have such an amazing life. His home was the Golden Oaks. Twilight just starts bawling hugging Spike tightly. Gabby took on the Sparkle last name since Spike has taken it on as well. They live happily with their two kiddos.
