It was the middle of some challenge Two started. Getting blocks? Hadn’t payed attention… E technically wasn’t a contestant but yet wasnt a cohost.

E was sitting outside of the building bored and looking around. There seemed to be some tall block towers that teams were diligently building. Ther seemed to be a few contestants that were running around. It seemed to be semi chaotic? Hard to see. E blankly looked up, wondering where two was. Huh counter in the sky…that’s new.

They continued to look around, fidgeting with her gloves. E noticed something though, two wasn’t anywhere they could see. Not shocking but weird. There was a yellow couch though. Odd.

E got up to try and get a closer look and walking a few feet forward. That’s where Two was! E smiled waking a little faster to meet them. But Two wasn’t alone… They were with someone else. Gatey? Gatey…. Oh. E had noticed the likening that two had with gatey.

It was annoying.

To say the least.

Two seemed to enjoy being with Gatey, in a way that was…worrying? If that’s a word she could use for this.

E began to walk back, obviously upset. She made her way into the hotel passing four and x.

“Hey! Where are you going?!”

There was four.. his grating voice that drove needles into E’s mind. E huffed barely glancing at him. She walked up the tower of stairs it seemed to never end. It was exhausting but, she needed to be alone. She just needed time. She had talked to two about this before. How it was hard to tell when they were ‘just friends’ with another. It was infuriating.

E walked into the shared room she had with two. She walked up to the window looking out on everyone. It was hard to see from up here less to think about. Yet so much more, she was alone.. it made her sick. Why was she like this. She hated being like this..

She sat down on the edge of the bed before slamming down onto it. The room was quiet, the only sound was her breathing and her own thoughts.

“Do they not like me anymore, did I do something, I need to get gatey away. Do something. Something, I-“

E rambled to herself. Trying to have reason. Though there was none, all that she could blame was herself. She was just over protective..

About ten minutes had passed when Two came into the room, well teleported…always forget they can do that.

“Oh E!! The challenge went great! How are..you?”

Two cheerfully spoke before noticing something was obviously wrong with E.

“Hey? Are you-“

“Whats with Gatey. Why do you like her so much…”

Oh. Two give E that shocked blank stare he has. They honestly didn’t know how to respond.

“Well..she had wanted to talk about the team but we had gotten off track.. and-“

“Still! Two I-i…”

E cut off two before drifted off.

“I worry.”

“E.. Gatey’s just a friend really! I would never do something like that to you”

Two sat down next to E on the bed, smiling at her softly. E wasnt quite sure what to do. They sat in silence for a moment before she leaned against them trying for any comfort.

Two complied, wrapping their arms around her. The room was quiet again, but now not as uncomfortable and tense. It was soft and pleasant. A kind of comforting silence of just being.

“Really..? I don’t want to be without you..”

Two pulled back slightly to look at her better. Their expression was soft and genuine.

“Of course.”

E smiled through slightly teary eyes. Falling into their lovers embrace again. Even if there was worry and fear, Two was there. And they were genuine. Really Two was wonderful.. they were very important, something worth protecting.

Though there was still a nagging sense that she should worry and protect this relationship. It wasn’t a fear for now, she just wanted a moment. A moment to be comfortable with Two.

“…do you wanna make a cheesecake for tomorrow’s elimination with me..?”

“……yeah.”
