Did you hear Mary Margaret and Emma got kidnapped to? By a guy named Jefferson. Do you think he might have kidnapped you too?

They were kidnapped? I didn’t hear that. That’s awful! Someone must have something against us. That seems like the only logical explanation I can think of. If this Jefferson guy kidnapped them, I guess it would make sense that he kidnapped me as well. I don’t know.

What do you remember of what happened to you?

Like I told Emma, I really only know a few details. Nothing concrete to help Emma build a case and find the person responsible. I wish I knew more. Believe me, I do.

Do you believe that people can remain friends after a breakup? Do you think this will be the case with you and David? I'm sure he'd be there for your in a friendly way during your recovery, he strikes me like the type to not abandon you if you asked his help.

You’re right about that, anon. David is not the type to abandon anyone.

We have been really good friends for as long as I can remember. Just because our marriage failed doesn’t mean that I want our friendship to have the same outcome. If that can happen with me, I’m sure the same can be said for others.

Nice to see that you're okay. Everyone thought you were dead; they found a heart with your DNA and so they launched this whole murder investigation ... a lot happened in the time since you went missing. We're just glad that you're alive.

I heard about that. I don’t know what I did to upset someone to the point of kidnapping me and holding me hostage.

Are you still have plans to go to Boston, once you're out of the hospital?

I don’t think so. I was really only leaving to get away from Storybrooke after everything happened. Now that David and I are in a good place, I want to stay and get a job here. I know Mr. Gold is a lawyer so maybe he can help me find my way.

You’re right about that. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I’m more concerned about who did this because of the reason behind it. Kidnapping me to try and frame Mary Margaret is terrible. I’m doing just fine now. David was kind enough to come by and visit, and @askthejadedmills​ is the best nurse here. I’m in good hands.

I hope you'll get better soon! Now that you have your own holes in your memory, maybe you can understand each other better with David? (Even if not in a relationship.)

Thank you for the kind words, anon. I’m not sure what you’re talking about exactly. If you’re talking about forgetting memories being similar, then I can understand but what made us forget are two completely different things.

I understand the confusion he went through and the struggle in trying to remember. I’m trying to remember what happened myself, but I can’t understand the actions he made as a result. I’m not bringing his mistakes up because I resent David or hate him because I don’t. I’ve moved on. I’ve forgiven him. I think that while there are similarities between us, the circumstances behind them are quite different.

What do you remember from your kidnapping? What was it like being drugged? It sounds awful.

I don’t remember much. I remember the accident and the airbag going off, but nothing that would be able to help narrow things down. I also remember being in a dark room with food and water waiting for me... I wish I knew more. I wish I knew who did this to me. You’re right about that. Being drugged is not something I would wish on my worst enemy.

I don’t know what I did or who I hurt to be used as some pawn to hurt Mary Margaret. I hope Emma finds out who did this to me.

“Yes, well I can only imagine. Er.. well.. not enough I suppose. Its quite different imagining and living through it.” Jade winced herself at her own lack of tact. “Sorry. None of my business. I can close the blinds and dim the lights a bit.” Jade picked up the chart at the end of the bed. “Looks like I can give you a little something for the pain too if you’d like. As for food.. well bit cliche but its rubbish here. If you promise not to tell I can call in an order from Granny’s. The only thing the mess hall can’t ruin is fruit and jello.”

“You don’t have to be sorry. Jade. I wasn’t offended by what you said.” Kathryn gave the woman a sympathetic smile. “I would never wish what happened to me on my worst enemy. Thank you for that.” She said about the lights and curtains. “I don’t like the food here myself. I remember eating quite a few meals here when my husband-- ex-husband was here recovering. You’re nice to offer me Granny’s, but I don’t want you to get in trouble because of me. I thought patients are supposed to have a strict diet?" There was humour in her voice there for she didn't want Jade to feel awkward about what she said, and it would take her mind off how she felt.

Thank you, anon. I’m sore, tired, hungry... but I’m sure I’ll be fine in a day or two. I’m still trying to wrap my head around what happened? Who could have done this? That’s what I want to know. And why.

Jade had been on her shift for barely an hour or so and finally been caught up on all the dramatics of the day from her coworkers. That poor woman! She couldn’t even imagine what Ms. Nolan was going through. And so when she heard the call for her room, Jade made haste. Entering the room with a smile, she carefully approached the patient. Seeing how Kathryn’s brow was bent, her concern grew. “Hello, love. I’m Jade. I’m your nurse for the rest of the evening. How are we doing?” 

Kathryn gave the woman a pained smile. “Nice to meet you.” She could barely look at the nurse without wincing from the light in the room, which seemed to have made her headache worse. She didn’t know if her pain was due to hunger, dehydration, or both. “I guess I’m good as I can be all things considered.” She replied, “But I’m hungry, and I’m fighting off a terrible headache.”
