Give me a one word prompt and (once we get our new tablet pen) we'll have Azel draw up a one panel response! Until then, you'll just have to settle for a paragraph!

Hazel: "So, what happened before that made you wanna... you know? Do you wanna talk about it at all?"

Leaning backwards on the railing, she looked to Hazel, her mask and tufts changing to match Hazel's eye color.

Luut: "The short answer, is a lot. But I'm sure you don't want that answer. So let's start from the earliest. Being a Chroma type is rare, back when I was in school, I always got bullied for it, which started the whole thing, I became secluded, less trusting. Hell, even my own parents were disgusted by me."

She looked out to the horizon.

Luut: "Later on, there was a lot of discrimination, people and Pokémon aren't very receptive to those unlike themselves, getting a job was nigh impossible, I had to hide that I was a Chroma type to get the one I had before and even then it was bad. Abusive workplace, too many hours for little pay, believe it or not, but I was homeless for a long time."

She pulled out her pack of cigarettes.

Luut: "These were my only life-savers, other than the girl that saved me from ending it all."

She looked back to Hazel.

Luut: "All in all, my entire life has been nothing but attacks from others. These days, more are accepting of Chroma types but it's still pretty rough."

Luut walked out onto the bridge of the ship, leaning over the edge, pulling a cigarette out, looking at it, she paused for a moment before putting it away.

Luut: "Not right now."

Her mask turned a pale white, her eyes and tufts turning blue.

Luut: "Ar-Luut. You've got bad habits, and theyve gotta stop. Keep them for emergencies. Today is just as colorless as any other, who knows if I'll ever see it like the rest do ever again?"

She chuckled lightly to herself.

Aria would look over at Connee, her eyes and face mask turning the same shade of blue as Connee. She looked at the cake bar and nodded her head.

"Thanks, I've been told that Alola is very mountainous, so I'll do a bit of mountain climbing. From what I know, it's very good for the soul."

She blew a puff of smoke away from Connee.

"And I'll try some new foods and maybe find a secluded island to just. Think. Be alone with my thoughts."

"If I have one bit of advice for you. It's that you should take your moments of solitude when you can, they're rare and once they're gone you never get them back. You can never be alone with your thoughts once that happens."

Friday Prompt

I'm having a really hard time focusing on blog work so, thought I do something I've been thinking about a lot.

So, feel free to send one of these + a character from any of my blogs and I'll give a glimpse into the past or future for them.

Aria boarded the ship to Alola, looking around before heading towards her cabin.

To herself: 'I should change my name. So that I can truly start over.'

She mulled over her thoughts for a few minutes before she spoke out loud by accident.

"Luut."

She then realized she had said that out loud and blushed in embarrassment, her eyes and hair tips changing to a shade of reddish-pink.

Aria: "Thanks, I'll go check it out."

The tips of her hair shifted to a shade of green.

She pulled out her phone and found which boat was heading to Alola and began to head towards it, giving Cherry a quick wave and a forced smile.

Cherry was sitting at the docks, watching the boats bob in the water before catch sight of the Riolu. She smiles and gives a friendly wave, “Oh hello there! Were you off to travel somewhere? I don’t often get to travel to far out of my home region myself, but I love it when I do.” Her gaze drifts back to the boats before returning, “Where were you heading too? I’ve always wanted to explore more islands personally.”

Aria would take notice of the Flaaffy and forced a smile before speaking.

Aria: "Yeah, I'm heading.. somewhere. I just need to get out of Unova."

She would look out to the horizon, her eyes turning a brilliant orange, the bags under her eyes more visible than ever.

Aria: "You have any thoughts on where I should go?"

Cherry was sitting at the docks, watching the boats bob in the water before catch sight of the Riolu. She smiles and gives a friendly wave, “Oh hello there! Were you off to travel somewhere? I don’t often get to travel to far out of my home region myself, but I love it when I do.” Her gaze drifts back to the boats before returning, “Where were you heading too? I’ve always wanted to explore more islands personally.”

Aria would turn back around, putting out her cigarette. She yawned and resumed walking towards the docks.

Aria: "What did she say her name was? I don't think I caught it, but I'll have to thank her next chance I get."

She arrived next to the ships.

Aria: "Now, where should I go?"

(ask-imaginary-dreamers) Casey approaches them, looking concerned. “Hey, um, if you don’t mind me asking who are you? What’s your name?”

She would turn around, her eyes and the tips of her hair tufts turning a golden rose color.

???: "My name? It's Aria."

She would reply, a small smile on her face. Though obviously a little off as she hadn't smiled in quite long.

The Riolu would awaken on the rooftop, alone. With a groan, she pulled herself up to her feet, she looked around and lit a cigarette, and began walking down the flights of stairs to the ground floor.

???: "Maybe I just need to start over and get out of this place."

She began heading towards the docks.
