As for my full name, that's an odd question- does your culture choose between the two? Where I'm from, most everyone uses both their full “species” name and their nickname indiscriminately.

And to preemptively answer your question-- it's a bit of a mouthful, being a hybrid, but my full name is Petilloomasnowapedurr! It's more commonly shortened to Petildurr, though.

“Ah, tres bien pronunciation, madamoiselle,” the butler complimented his verdant guest. “And tres bien deduction as well. Yes, the Montaroi family has benefited from generations of essentially exclusive access to the rare metals in these mountains, and their net worth easily rivals some royalty.”

“However, the harsh weather of these mountains has been somewhat of a double-edged sword. While we enjoy the privacy afforded by miles of ice, snow, and rock, it does make doing business a tad difficult. Often the Montaroi lords and ladies have had to travel to oversee business dealings, which is why my lady is out at this time.”

He looked out the window at the walls of falling ice that battered the glass of the windows. “She and I have taken evening strolls in blizzards worse than this. We are quite used to it after all, living our entire lives in this climate. Still, naturally I worry for her as any good servant would. I simply must be patient and keep everything prepared for her return.”

Funny story! I actually hurt someone when I was younger (who’s good friend nowadays, don’t worry) with a hug that ended up seriously bruising their ribs!! I swear, I think they're planning on hug-crushing me back someday... they have that look in their eyes.
