(it’s been coming for a while now, but man, this still feels a little bittersweet to do-)

(to make it quick- i’m archiving this blog. it’ll still be up, but i won’t be taking anymore questions.)

i started this blog back in 2017. i’d just recently gotten into the mother series via smash bros and i genuinely had a fun time running it outside of my high school classes. it was the first ask blog i’d ever made, so just trying to figure out the ins and outs of doing it made it an exciting experience.

time’s certainly passed since then, but to be honest the charm’s kinda worn off for me. to the best of my ability, i’ve tried to be open with asks, but as of late a lot of people in my inbox had been extremely pushy and really getting on my nerves. it made going through the ask box feel more of a slog than anything, so my motivation to answer asks kept plummeting.

on top of that, i’d just kind of moved on without even realizing it. it’s 2020- i’m a college student now and i’ve gotten into a lot more things since then. the mother series isn’t my main fandom anymore. i still love this series and all the friends i’ve met through it, but i can’t say i still want to keep doing this blog.

but, as mentioned earlier, i’m keeping this blog up. through all the ups and downs, i still put 3 years of my art in here- so i’ll keep it for anybody to go through.

anyways, that’s all i really had to say. i know i get kind of rambly, but i didn’t want to just archive this blog without an explanation. to those who went through and read all of this? thank you. it’s been a wild 3 years, and i don’t think it would’ve been the same if i’d never made this blog. to those long time followers, thanks for hanging around to the very end. stay safe out there, and i hope you have a great day/night/etc.

Ness: “I sneaked him in for an impromptu sleepover back in the 64 days. We got caught, but they’ve never let Ninten on the roster!”

Ninten: “Nowadays I just visit the mansion a lot, just like Claus. We stay over for weekends sometimes.”

(there’s some precautions in the system to make sure he’s not “deactivated” for good but like. he’s gonna need some rest for a bit.)

Can you immagine a timeline where Giygas was the villain of Mother 3,replacing porky compleatly(and replacing the porky masks with the starmans)?

(okay, i’m going to be honest. why are there a bunch of anons coming to the inbox asking me to develop/make aus? i know i did a couple of them in the past, but i was assuming they’d just be one shots. i’m not super familiar with some of the things i’ve been sent either so i’m sorry if you wanted to see that.)

So,since you made designs for Lucas and Claus personas,how do you think Lucas or Claus palace and shadow would look like?(I know that will probably be delated or just forgotten but I wanted to get it out of my chest)

(uhhh backgrounds/buildings aren’t my strong suit but i can at least try to write a description? check below!)

if we’re talking palaces, then in this hypothtical persona au the twins would awaken theirs inside porky’s palace. it would look extremely similar to the empire porky building, with the treasure being locked at the depths of it.

similar to mementos(but unlike the tower), the group has to make their way down instead of up. lucas awakens his persona first when they reach a floor where porky admits to destroying the islands (along with some offhand comment about lucas’s family being useful for spreading his influence). they retreat afterwards.

claus’s awakening results from an encounter on a floor that’s similar to the chimera lab. spurred on by taunts on his lack of autonomy/usefulness due to breaking out from the brainwash, claus joins the team with icarus by his side.

porky’s pretty shameless, but a calling card right where he can see it (probably delivered by lucas) is enough to make his shadow worry and manifest the treasure. the boss fight itself is an amalgamation between that first phase giygas fight from earthbound, and his fight from mother 3. once the treasure’s grabbed, its non-metaverse form is that of the friends yoyo.
